Aaron Hanson assesses the redistributive impact of the 2013 CAP reforms using an EU-wide panel study
He shows, among others, that payment capping is less effective at redistributing subsidies towards smaller farmers than the Redistributive Payment Scheme
Piet & Desjeux @SmartLereco@INRAE_France assess the distribution of farm incomes and the redistributive impact of CAP payments using the example of French farms. They show, among others, that payments contributed to avoid increasing income inequalities
Los et al (@Econ_WU@WUR) investigate firm-specific responses to energy policies in Dutch horticulture. They show that firms respond differently to energy prices and find a considerable spread in energy expenses between firms
Renner et al. (@agroscope) show the policy relevance of accounting for technological heterogeneity among farms and dynamics in there, using the example of Swiss dairy production.
Wuepper et al (@DavidWuepper@StefanGWimmer@TU_Muenchen@aecp_eth) investigate the relationship between family farming and rural labour markets. Using a German case study, they show that there is no causal effect of family farming on rural unemployment
We thank the EAAE @AgriEconEurope for supporting the 171st EAAE Seminar and all participants of the seminar! We are grateful for the big support of @CJ_Lagerkvist, the entire ERAE editorial team and all authors and reviewers realizing this special issue - thank you!
