My wife can't fly alone with our kids is a helluva spin

The kids are 10 and 12. Heidi's Goldman Sachs executive. It's a 2.5 hour flight. I think she can handle it.

Also you're supposed to quarantine for 10 days when you come back from abroad. He'd do that for an overnight?

Alden to strip more newspapers for parts.
A big, maybe even the biggest, reason we're in this hyper-partisan, post-truth, conspiracy reality is because of the destruction and underfunding of legit reporting media, up and down the food chain.
Hopefully this is good for the @baltimoresun. (Not a lot of detail out there yet.) As with every place, that place needs good local media. baltimoresun.com/business/bs-bz…

I feel like #TexasFreeze folks could use some tips from people used to extreme cold. No better source on that than dog sledder @BlairBraverman. Here's her thread
put on layers of down/wool/anything to create pockets of air and pile everyone into one bed.

and make sure to pee. don't waste body heat on a full bladder.
If you're just miserable but know you'll be ok, please check on any elderly or disabled neighbors.

Nothing more cynical that Mitch McConnell speachifying about Trump's is "practically and morally" responsible for insurrection but saying it didn't meet a "criminal" standard.

This was not a criminal proceeding.
Mitch was happy to use Trump's lies and conspiracies when he thought it would secure him control of the Senate and was happy to provide himself and other Senators cover from base by voting to acquit. But just in case the weather starts changing, he wants this on the record...
