This is about a promise for the kids of PA that they will have not only a good academic environment, but one that is welcoming & safe. One of my 1st conversations w/ @malcolmkenyatta was about community schools -- using the infrastructure of public ed to support kids & families.

What struck me is how @malcolmkenyatta not only talks about his values, but how he moves them through policy. That's what we need in the US Senate -- people who will walk the walk of our kids, parents, educators, communities, and working people. @rweingarten

When schools in PA were closed due to lead and asbestos, it was @malcolmkenyatta leading the fight to ensure safety for our students and educators. Pennsylvanians deserve a Senator who will fight for them. @AFTPA's Art Steinberg
