"Métis | The Canadian Encyclopedia": @CdnEncyclopedia thecanadianencyclopedia.ca/en/article/met…
The New Peoples- Being and Becoming Metis - Jacqueline Peterson and Jennifer SH Brown - Big M Little m. theory is a theory written and advanced by The Metis National Council itself . Just because it says so, does not make it so. The court has already said that in the McCargar
V MNA case./ the Metis Nation of Alberta is a society registered in the society's act. It is neither sovereign or governmental. One can resign from the association and still be Metis. Bylaws and terms ( such as theories as this one) only apply to the communities governed by MNC.
It is a private voluntary body bound by the provision of IT'S bylaws. It is true that much of the terminology of the Associations bylaws are redolent of sovereign government, just saying that does not make it so.
MNC Intervenor in Daniels trial - CAP-MNC split due to fundamental disagreement about who the Metis are - serious dispute in definition.
Mal i Mic News Nov 1975 -Indigenous People's Conference-NCC delagate of the First World Indigenous Peoples Conference-aboriginal title must be recognized as a binding international law-artifical definitions-Half-Breed. or Metis.
Behind the Scene of the Send First Ministers Conference on Aboriginal Constitutional Affairs-05190.vol15-3 Mar 1984 NewBreed- Metis National Council trying to convince Native Council of Canada on Metis Definition.
Constitutional meeting not a complete failure - March 1984 - New Breed. " There is no definition of who is a Metis." "The definition proposed by The Metis National Council did not recieve approval by the Native Council of Canada."
sec 130 - Harry Daniels case - "However, it those persons described in paragraph 117 who are the Metis for the purposed of the declaration which the Plaintiffs seek."
sec 117 - Harry Daniels case describing the core group of MNSI as a group of native people who maintained a strong affinity for their Indian Heritage without possessing Indian status sec. 117. ( Nothing about any Big M or Little m Metis National Council Theory)
In fact the Surpreme Court of Canada - Harry Daniels decision Section 17 - No one exclusive Metis people in Canada. No consensus on who is a Metis or who is a NonStatus Indian nor need their be. It only becomes a case by case basis when dealing with Aboriginal Rights.
Mal i Mic news December 1976 - NCC, Cabinet talks on Land Claim Study - Harry Daniels, Melvin Nash (NBAMNSI) - setting up an organization to research the claims of the NonStatus and Metis people.
Metis Council, CAP may tussle on Daniels - Windspeaker May 2016 pg 6.
Harry Daniels, president of the Native Council of Canada (Now CAP) is largely accredited with repatriating the Metis into the 1982 constitution. Not the Metis National Council. Remembering Harry Qimmiq Daniels-Windspeaker October 2004 - Harry Daniels, Metis leader and
spokesman extraordinaire. / Mal i Mic news oct 1976 -PEIAMNSI Holds 2nd Annual Assembly - Guest speakers - Harry Daniels, Stu Killan, Gary Gould, etc.
Royal Commission On Aboriginal Peoples Final Report Vol. 4 - Perspectives and Realities- by Royal Commission on Aboriginal Peoples 1996 - Harry Daniels correpondence to Kirby Lethbridge (President of the Labrador Metis Nation)
metismuseum.ca- New breed Magazine Winter 2006- Harry Daniels - order of Gabriel Dumont Gold- in the early 1980's as the president of NCC - He was the person responsible for putting Metis into the repatriated constitution.
Eastern Métis- Chronicling and Reclaiming a Denied Past - edited by Michel Bouchard, Sébastien Malette, Siomonn Pulla - Metice and metif as early as 1615. This word was used to describe the Mixed Race people in the East, who had their own culture and histories.
Visions of Canada-Canadian Studies in Europe- vol6-Term Metis derives from Metice, which is cited as an Indigenous word since 1615, and which describes anyone born to a white male to an Indian woman or conversely. It is a word used in the East first !!
Library Archives Canada - Use of the term half-breed - "However at the preference of Metis National Council, the term "Metis" is used to refer to this cultural group generally."
@CdnEncyclopedia So as you can see, this article has a serious Bias slant to it , please fix it . MMF is a separation from Status Indians, BCANSI is separation from Status Indians, all the Metis and NonStatus groups were a result of separating from the Status Indian groups,
National Indian Brotherhood represented the Status Indians and the Canadian Metis Socieity represented "Nationally" all Metis and NonStatus Indians "coast to coast". Canadian Metis Society evolved into the Native Council of Canada in the 70's, that is who repatriated the Metis
into the Canadian Constitution in 1982, Metis National Council split into their own group in 1983, and incorporated into a non profit society in 1985. / So if you are wondering like the rest of us, who gave them all this POWER to say who is Metis and who isn't? Think this
pretty much explains it.

Lets look at this another way shall we -- "Indigenous" people: "French Canadian". Remember that "French-Canadian"= French Canadian. French Canadian=French descent. French descent=white. White ≠ Indigenous / Do we all see how ridiculous this is? Yes .. 🤣 "Most people tend to
identify more closely with their maternal language, and from it derive their cultural heritage.." / A man for two peoples-Pierre-Amand Landry-by Stanley, Della Margaret Maude- 1988 - French Canadian Interests- Riel - Landry introduced a motion censuring the Macdonald gov for

@Twitter Interesting that this lady can post identifying information about my 11 yr old disabled son and that isn't concerning for you? Interesting .. Image
Oh well just one more case for the lawyer to show how twitter platform is being used to racially profile women and minors.
How does one report content about a disabled minor child on an account they are blocked from?
