5 reasons your agency is making absolutely ZERO progress

Fix them and you'll hit $10k/month with ease

THREAD
Here's the thing

Everyone wants to jump in and start an agency

From a top down view

"Learn a skill, pitch your skill, make money" sounds nice

But there are some crucial points missing from that

Let's discuss
1) You're trying to make money before getting results.

If you're an average dude with no skills you cannot simply JUST GET CLIENTS

You have to LEARN YOUR SKILL.

To MAKE SURE you get results.

Then get clients.

This ties into #2
2) You aren't confident in your ability to deliver.

Lack of confidence stems from lack of experience.

Learn your skill. Then learn more.

If you are already great at what you do, you need experience + results
The ONLY way you are going to get experience is by working on real world projects

If you have to do initial work for free, do it

If you have to charge less the first couple times, do it

Just because you're good at your skill doesn't mean you can get real world results
Get results first by working for free or cheap

Then use those results to get more clients

As you get more confident and can actually deliver results, increase your prices
3) A niche isn't enough

The next 2 points will help you understand this more

But for now, understand that you need to be SPECIFIC with who you are targeting
The more specific you are, the more you:

> Can understand their pain points

> Can provide a specific solution

> Can find people that can afford your service

If you only focus on the niche, your outreach and offer will suck
4) You spray and pray outreach

Quality over quantity

100 personalized & specific cold emails are better than 1000 shitty emails sent to anyone

Same goes for cold DMing
You need to prequalify

> Make sure they can afford your services

> See if they are already spending money on ads/marketing

> Make sure you have an offer that they WANT
5) You are trying to pitch an offer that your target doesn't need

If you are a web designer

There are going to be MANY people that don't need a full website

It's not a worry to them

It isn't causing them any pain
What can you do instead?

First, study your target

If you do web design for agencies, they prob don't need a website

BUT, a lot of them desperately need a landing page + VSL + booking calendar
The landing page with VSL and calendar is much more specific than a full website

Plus, it fits their business model much better

Same skill, different (but better) offer
All in all

None of this would matter if you spent more time on your offer at the start

Agency work is made to sound easy

This is TRUE

But only if you take your time with the points listed above
6) BONUS: You're afraid to spend money

If you've never spent $1k on your biz

Pitching someone for a couple thousand will feel unfamiliar

Prospects will detect this in your tonality.
DETACH YOURSELF FROM MONEY AND OUTCOMES

Prospects can smell neediness from a mile away

Nobody will buy from a dude that smells needy

Wtf does first line mean?

It's an individually personalized compliment to the prospect.

Impossible to automate.

Astronomically increases conversions.

Worth it.

So how'd we scrape these leads?

I need to know.

Do you already have clients?

What do you charge them?

Do you have case studies?

Do you sell one specific thing to one specific person?

If any of these are no, I don't work with them.
