@MiserableLes1 @DerbyChrisW @billy_blog 1. We need to elect a socialist Government (for which we need a socialist party - see pinned thread). But capitalism can't be overthrown via 1 parliamentary term so #UBI - a social dividend from our common (stolen) resources, is needed as a human right
within capitalism first

There's no problem with providing a wholesome job guarantee as well obviously. The issue is that all MMT-ers I've seen are capitalists who shun UBI & want the exploited poor doubly-robbed

@MiserableLes1 @DerbyChrisW @billy_blog 3. MMT is obviously correct - money is only a created, token system to organise division of labour & distribution of the fruits of labour/tech. in society - when it's not corrupted that is. Capitalists use it to dupe, enslave & rob most people...

I challenge anyone to show me how any party in the UK is actually socialist - large, small, old or new. I'll gladly drop the FAIR SOCIETY PARTY I'm getting off the ground (socialist) if there's another 1 already
