I have some friends coming to visit so I have a lot to do today. Im not panicking over rising #rates.
Here's why. Some charts of what happened to #gold miners during the biggest rate rise in the last 50yrs.

Carolin Mines. From a low of 2.20 in 1978, to a high of 56.5 in 1980. This occured while 10 yr rates nearly doubled from 7% to 13% in the same time frame.
Silver Stack Mines. A low of 1.30 in 1978, to a high of $36 by 1980.
NRD Mining. 1978 low of 40c to a 1981 high of $19. Up 4,650% in 3 yrs.
Consolidated Cinola Mines. Low of 70c, high of $22. Up 3,042%.

Stanford Mines. 55c to 12.5. 2,172%.
Silverado Mines. 19c to 10.50. That is a 5,426% return. A 10,000 investment made a profit of over half a million dollars in 2 yrs.
Last one then I need to clean, cook, & restock the bar cause SOMEBODY drank all the good scotch (It was me). The TSE gold index. From 1500 to 6500 a 333% return.
Thanks like buying the $GDX here & watching it go to 134 by 2023.
That's it! Have a good weekend everyone, I'm out.
