Almost all the Indian media rationalized #GodhraMassacre After rationalizing Godhra, they added that they are not ‘justifying’ it (for token). All of them did not justify Godhra. But there is absolutely no doubt that they rationalized & some of them partially justified it (58)

Hindustan Times thus held Ayodhya movement to be biggest cause of #GodhraMassacre. So much so that the headline ignored the massacre. HT did not even bother to have the headline like: “58 karsevaks burnt to death in a ghastly attack in #Godhra” or something of the sort. (61)

What had been a heinous & well-planned crime in #GodhraMassacre was not called pre-meditated, he said 'official enquiry will decide', while what had clearly been a spontaneous reaction to #Godhra was called by @svaradarajan writing in Times of India as a ‘pre-planned’ one! (68)
