Hi guys, here's an important thread about the Israeli connection to MBS and the cause of justice for Jamal. It's also a thread about how many crosshairs are on my back, and why I'm probably less safe now than I was before the ODNI report:

So you may have noticed that MBS's disinfo accounts have been pumping out anti-Palestinian racist material and have been signalling support for Israel. I've talked about this many times, most recently here:

You'll also notice this piece of news, which Israeli media dropped just hours before the ODNI report came out. It states that Israel is seeking a military alliance that includes MBS, as well as MBZ and Hamad of Bahrain. i24news.tv/en/news/intern…

You'll also notice questions being raised about Jared Kushner's role in the Khashoggi cover up. For all his grifting, however, Kushner isn't completely independent, he has deep connections to one Benjamin Netanyahu.

Now the Israel angle in the Khashoggi cover up is not new. This (from Israeli media) is from December 2018, two months after Jamal was killed and dismembered: timesofisrael.com/report-salman-…

Even earlier, Israeli media noted that Trump's own decision to "go easy" on MBS and to cover up for him "has Netanyahu's fingerprints all over it" haaretz.com/middle-east-ne…

Kushner's own role in the cover up was reported as early as November 2018, such as here. Don't be surprised that it says "Netanyahu" because it doesn't seem Kushner was acting alone: middleeastmonitor.com/20181102-netan…

Also in November 2018 (less than a month after the Khashoggi murder), Netanyahu called Trump and asked him to stick by MBS, describing him as a key "strategic ally" of Israel: haaretz.com/middle-east-ne…

There is a clear sense among Arab dictators that all of their sins can be forgiven if they ally with Israel. MBS is very clearly doing this, and Israel has been very clearly signaling that to him for a while. But Israel has been doing more:

Now I call your attention to the Abraham Accords which were signed in the dying days of the Trump presidency between Israel and two cynical, destructive, human rights violating dictators - the UAE's MBZ and Bahrain's King Hamad.

At the time we loudly said that this is a fake peace, a cynical ploy to cover up for some of the most insidious Arab dictators, destroy any chances for Palestinian statehood, while also presenting this to the world as a good thing.

I've seen people say it's a good thing if Saudi Arabia becomes close to Israel. These people do not understand the region or its psyche, and proceed from the same paradigm that created today's disasters: Ignoring and infantilizing the will of the people.

"Saudi Arabia" is not MBS. Making peace can only last if it's people-to-people, not cynical regimes and dictators who do what they want against their people's will. To make a people to people peace requires justice, not just cynical campaigns and psy-ops

Oh yeah - forgot to mention why this makes me more unsafe. Consider the following: I'm a Palestinian from the UAE who MBS wants dead. That's at least three (possibly four) crosshairs on my back. Even if MBS is constrained, that still leaves two (or three) crosshairs still.

I'm not cynical about my safety, I take all proper precautions and I wish to live long enough to do my work. But I also know that this is going to be the rest of my life, and that they may well kill me eventually. I've made my peace with that. True peace in the land is worth it.
