1./ Naomi Wolf's latest outburst raises a simple question. Do you HAVE to be barking to believe in Self-ID? After all, she's a noted champion of the idea any man who says he's a woman must be believed. She's also currently baking anti-vaxx fruitcake on social media.👇

2./ Her lunatic anti-vaxx claims are fuelled by rumour and her own deep misunderstanding of science. She's even claimed the vaccines insert code into people's bodies that can be updated (inside them) and this is linked to time travel. They don't and they're not.🤦‍♂️

3./ Yet it was ONLY 3 months ago this same woman was lauded as a rational expert by those kindergarten rejects Pink News who love to attack lesbians like @BluskyeAllison or @bindelj but seem to have a soft spot for a straight woman with FABULOUS hair and a head full of idiocy.👇

4./ For years she's been held up as an example by the army of Self-ID proponents. Here's her being described as "an inspiration to so many people", by @echrso an academic who defends restricting the free expression of people critical of Self-ID. She applauds his courage.👇

5./ Naomi was also lauded by other champions of gender Self-ID like self-proclaimed inventor of all gay rights ever @PeterTatchell who, like her, regularly calls @ALLIANCELGB a hate group and criticises UK feminists as "transphobic" when they're merely defending women.👇

6./ Of course Self-ID isn't the only fruity idea HE's supported. In a letter to the Guardian he insisted "the positive nature of some child-adult sexual relationships is not confined to non-Western cultures". He's since claimed he didn't mean what it seemed his own words meant.👇

7./ When @ALLIANCELGB pointed out thousands of lesbians and gays felt existing LGBTQ+ organisations didn't represent us @naomirwolf accused us of being "a Koch brothers-funded anti-trans group"; a claim based on as much evidence as her vaccines claims; ie none at all. 👇

8./ That won Naomi backing from that elephantine ego and @ALLIANCELGB obsessive @MrJohnNicolson an MP who took a leaf out of her book when he recently concocted his own conspiracy theory claiming we were part of a secret global plot to take over the SNP. 😂

9./ His evidence was cooked up by fellow Naomi fanboy, the soap actor who offered nude pics to people who lent support to gender recognition reform. It goes without saying Naomi's stance was applauded by a certain lawyer who dressed up in his wife's kimono to bludgeon a fox.

10./ He's now trying to reverse a High Court decision on puberty blocker drugs though what he knows about science could be etched on what's left of that poor fox's pulverised brain. For example, he ridiculed researchers testing the drugs on animals.👇

11./ Yep, despite the fact puberty blockers were discovered by research on animals. It's tempting to conclude there's a pattern here: that Self-ID is such a mad idea it attracts supporters who'd feel quite at home at a certain tea party. But there's much more to it than that.

12./ It's not madness that made @NicolaSturgeon rant recently about "transphobia". Instead Self-ID has been turned into a useful tool against rivals as she fights off claims she conspired to have a political opponent jailed. Self-ID has been weaponised.👇

13./ That's not unusual. In Malta, that small nation that pioneered Self-ID (much lauded by Sturgeon) the cover-up continues by a regime that both introduced Self-ID and is alleged to be involved in the assassination of journalist Daphne Galizia.👇 timesofmalta.com/articles/view/…

15./ Shameless politicians, commercial organisations, drug-pushers and lobby groups rationally calculate how to use Self-ID to advance their careers, political positions and financial resources. That's why they were happy to overlook Naomi Wolf's long record of delusions.

16./ Some of the gender identity proponents who lined up with Naomi only weeks ago may try to claim her mad vaxx claims are a blip. But that won't wash. For months our side has been pointing out she has a long track record of making ridiculous claims. 👇

18./ Her litany of baloney included the US military importing Ebola to spread it at home, Edward Snowden being a US plant and the power of the mind being able to overcome contraception or correct serious childbirth complications. Did any of those put off LGBTQ+ lobbyists? Nope.

19./ The gender identity movement held up Naomi as an exemplar not because they're mad (or not all of them) but because they are now unable to distinguish fact from crazy fiction. What's worse is they don't care. They saw Naomi as their perfect mascot. Now she really is.
