Yellowish vaginal discharge with or without a smell, may be a sign of;

- bacterial infection, or
- sexually transmitted infection (STI), like Trichomoniasis

If you have this discharge, don't waste further time. See your health care provider for evaluation & treatment. Image
Brown vaginal discharge may be due to;

- irregular menstrual cycles
- uterine cancer, or
- cervical cancer

In fact, brown discharge in a woman after menopause is often an early sign of cancer of the uterus.

It's a sign you shouldn't joke about. See your doctor if you have it. Image

I was told a shocking story by my doctor friend today:

A 2-year-old boy was brought by his mother to the hospital in severe pains with bruises all over his penis. He was reportedly sexually assaulted by a house-help, a 13-year-old girl, who looks after him when his mom is away.
The house-help would fiddle with this little boy's penis, then use it to rub on her genitals for several minutes especially when the boy's mother is not around.

The girl confessed that the act has been going on for the past 3 months even though the boy's mom was not aware.
She started using the little boy to satisfy her sexual desire since their school went on vacation & she couldn't access her main partner, a 6-year-old boy whom she usually bribes with Capri-Sun drink to engage in sexual acts with her at their school backyard during break time.

LET'S TALK ABOUT MASTURBATION

Masturbation is when you stimulate your own genitals with your fingers, hands, a vibrator, etc. for sexual pleasure. It usually leads to orgasm and can be a good or bad depending on how you do it.

A thread🧵

{RT for awareness!}
Have you ever masturbated in your life?
Men generally masturbate by stimulating their penis, scrotum, anus, or perineum. Women, on the other hand, masturbate by rubbing, touching or massaging their clits, vulva, vagina, nipples, thighs, and breasts.

Having an orgasm at least 3 times a week cuts in half your risks of coronary heart disease. Sex is a form of exercise.
But people with existing heart diseases may have a heart attack during sex or any other physical activity that increases thier heart rate.

For them, it's not advisable to have sex especially when you have symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, irregular heartbeat, etc
For people without heart disease, sex is a good form of exercise which helps strengthen the heart, lower the blood pressure, reduce stress, & improve sleep.

So for people with a stable heart, the long-term benefits of regular sex & other physical activities outweigh this risk.

Don't give your child TEETHING POWDER 🍶. Inhaling it can damage their lungs.

Don't give your child ASPIRIN 💊 for teething. It can cause the deadly Reye syndrome*.

Don't give your baby ALCOHOL 🍾 for teething. It's dangerous to their growing liver.

Pass on!
*Reye syndrome is a serious condition that causes confusion, swelling in the brain, and liver damage. It can occur in children who are given aspirin!
Read my previous tweet here for what you need to know about teething and what you can do if your teething child is showing symptoms:
