The Supreme Court will hear petition today on whether the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) exercise its jurisdiction over railway areas without the consent of the concerned State government

Reason I have filed this intervention is they want to scuttle the investigation. Issue notice and keep matter for a later day: Salve.
Counsel Devanshi Singh seeks pass over saying Senior Counsel Mukul Rohatgi is on his legs on another court.

Singh opposes adjournment saying interim relief is needed.

Court adjourns matter for next week.
Matter will be taken up next Wednesday. Appeal by State of West Bengal and intervention plea by defacto complainant also to be listed along with the plea.

Siddiquee: so if there are two separate accounts then there ought to have been two separate complaints. These complaints cannot be clubbed like that and this was not considered by the Magistrate.
