Walker began: "Nicola Sturgeon under a bit of pressure, that inquiry she will be giving her evidence today from 9am. Do you agree that she's fighting for her political life today?"

All in a day's work in #scottishparliament !!
"No I don't," Blackford replied. "I think what you're saying is the worse kind of politicking from the Conservatives."

You might even think they don't want #ScottishIndependence 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 !
"This has been a much-postponed appearance from the First Minister at the committee she's been very much looking forward to coming in front of them, she'll of course answer all the questions they put to her."
WHY did #Salmond repeatedly refuse to attend to give 'evidence' if it existed?

#Salmond himself said, when giving evidence, that 'just because someone says something, doesn't make it true.'

Has #Aberdein been questioned by committee or was his written response deemed adequate?
"This is a situation that will be drawing to a close on the back of the parliamentary investigation and indeed investigation of the standards commissioner."

#Dross, #Fraser, #Mitchell & #Davidson, perhaps ALL Tories presume to impose THEIR conclusion without assessing evidence!
One might conclude that Tories demonstrate more than a little political bias!

Were #Dross, #Fraser, #Mitchell & #Davidson or any other Tories actually present or in position to provide 'first hand' evidence?

Whatever happened to the legal dictum, 'innocent until proven guilty'?
"You say @Ianblackford_MP there's some playing politics going on, the Scottish Conservative leader Douglas Ross in calling for that vote of no confidence, yes she hasn't given evidence yet," Walker said.
#Dross's calls for resignations, without hearing evidence are politically motivated bias & demonstrate poor judgement!

I might add, that #Dross's actions and comments evidently demonstrate that he is unfit for high office and would be advised to reflect on his conduct and tone!
"But he said, 'No evidence she could give will counter the claims of numerous witnesses or refute that her Government ignored the legal advice for months and lost more than £500,000 of taxpayers money in the process.'"

@ScotGovFM meticulously explained the reasoning of @scotgov
How often have we heard the expression, 'It was a matter of judgement', or 'it was a judgement call'?

Each individual is unique and therefore, their decisions and judgements reflect this.

Context is everything and will define the parameters of decision making & judgements made.
Often, individuals may differ on decisions or judgements but will work together, when required, to reach a final decision or judgement within the terms of a remit and predetermined standards and criteria that must be met.
A general standard is that of the "reasonable man", i.e.
"the standard demanded is thus not of perfection but of reasonableness".

The nature of judgements rest upon a consideration and weighing up of all factors in the matter requiring a judgement.

That includes evidence!
"Yes the problem with that is the narrative that the Conservatives are putting around is not true," Blackford argued.

Tories have a proven track record for lies and duping the public, in order to impose their flawed and damaging ideology on UK.

But, NOT Scotland!

"It's a bit rich that the Conservatives haven't waited for that scrutiny of the First Minister before they've rushed a judgement I thought we worked on the premise of justice applying in our politics."

😀👍
Blackford replied: "I think at the end of the day what's important is the women that came forward."

"We mustn't lose sight of that and it is absolutely crucial that if they are any allegations of harassment or sexual misconduct that they will be treated seriously."
"BBC Breakfast viewers weren't impressed with the broadcaster's coverage of the inquiry and took to Twitter to comment."
"The BBC are obsessed with unproven claims about the SNP but totally unperturbed about Tories behaving unlawfully and bunging their mates billions in taxpayer money. One might be forgiven for thinking they're caving in to pressure from the cabinet or simply biased #BBCBreakfast."
"So suddenly when it's a Scottish internal political issue that's nothing to do with the Tories, @BBCBreakfast suddenly becomes interested in interrogating politicians. Utterly corrupt by the BBC," another remarked.
"@BBCBreakfast @BBCNews Can you tell me why you are having so much coverage of the politics of Scotland and nothing about the lies and deceit of the Westminster government?"

Scotland is on the map!!

Now, let's have a meaningful discussion on #ScottishIndependence 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
"Asking about breaking ministerial codes which Westminster does with amazing regularity! Are you being paid?"

Whatever could possibly give people that impression?!? 🤣🤣🤣

At what point might UK Government declare enough is enough and halt the insanity perpetrated falsely in the name of, "the people"?

At what point will it be recognised that UK Goverment, their party donors and loyal supporters have crossed the line between realism and delusion?
At what point will respresentatives of "the people" demand that UK Government be held accountable for bringing UK into disrepute and bankrupting UK?

Might Brexit and COVID scams constitute breaches of the ministerial code?

At what point will UK Government be expected to resign?

"Her handling of the pandemic has been widely praised and she has fronted-up the challenging public health campaign with competence, commitment and empathy."
"Nicola Sturgeon is rated three times more strongly than Tory leader Douglas Ross and new Labour leader Anas Sarwar. Her intelligence is rated twice as highly as her rivals, as is her understanding or ordinary people, her genuineness, honesty, trustworthiness and charisma."
"Having failed to lay a glove on her, opposition politicians and the anti-SNP commentariat have launched a full-on Trumpist assault, deploying character assassination, wild exaggerations, accusations and conspiracy theories."

Actions that might warrant investigation!

@stonesister7 @FerretScot I agree, that is one to watch and to be alert to its' motivations and agenda.
@stonesister7 @FerretScot I have sensed the undercurrent in devolution and especially 'reserved matters' or more specifically, the current day reinterpretation of these to suit an agenda other than what we are accustomed to, in a democracy.
@stonesister7 @FerretScot The offensive over #ScottishIndependence, running roughshod over the rights of self-determination, for each of the four nations/province comprising UK.

UK is NOT a country but a union of four nations/province; each having distinctive histories, cultures and needs.

"GARY Kelly is a well-known stalwart of the Scottish independence movement, but he is a fair-minded sort of guy who wants England to have indy too."
"He applied to the people who run the Petitions website for the Westminster Parliament – you know, the one that promises “consideration for debate” in Parliament if you get 100,000 signatures – mischievously asking them to host a petition calling for “Independence for England”

"Not for the first time, the Tories have been accused of proposing new laws which strongly resemble fascism."

"Meanwhile, all of this is coming from a government which appears to be simultaneously seeking to dictate how Britain’s history is told."
"Jason Stanley, a philosophy professor at Yale University, succinctly summed up his thoughts on the current state of affairs by highlighting two short passages of his book, How Fascism Works: The Politics of Us and Them."
“Here’s what’s happening in the UK right now,” he wrote on Twitter, showing two graphics highlighting key aspects of fascism.
