Luthien: Just finished #WandaVision...next to my husband...which ABSOLUTELY sent my emotions into overdrive, lol. THIS THREAD CONTAINS SPOILERS!!!

I hate to break it to the people/men who couldn't UNDERSTAND this series finale...but this was not made for you 1/13
Or, maybe it was, but you are too ignorant and blind to open your mind to the female story, the female gaze, the female grief....the female TRUTH. 2 years ago, I underwent my finale surgery to remove ALL of my reproductive organs in an effort to eradicate the Stage 5 Endo... 2/13
that was ravaging my body. I made one of the most ultimate sacrifices to give myself as much quality of life as I could. My husband stood by me 100%...but that did not 100% quell the thoughts of "I will never bring life into this world...I will never experience childbirth...3/13
I will never have the joy of telling my husband that I'm pregnant, and he is going to be a father." I tumbled through the stages of grief, not knowing that I was. I was never truly angry, but I would walk past mothers with strollers, or holding babies, etc...4/13
and even though I NEVER regretted my decision...I still felt so....sad....and sometimes unworthy of being a wife...and a woman. Wanda creating, from her grief, this world where she and Vision seemingly had the perfect house, the perfect marriage, children, all if it...5/13
I. GET. IT. I UNDERSTAND IT ON ONE OF THE MOST PERSONAL LEVELS EVER. And that's just it, and I'll say it LOUDER FOR THE PPL IN THE BACK! Just because it's not personal for you, doesn't mean it isn't personal for someone else. That it isn't personal for another WOMAN...6/13
These last two episodes ESPECIALLY, are THE FEMALE GAZE. THE FEMALE GRIEF. THE FEMALE STORY. WandaVision didn't need a stupid A.F. cameo swooping in at the end to detract from WANDA'S. STORY. One of my FAVORITE parts of this episode was the end...7/13
when Wanda and Monica had their final moment, and Monica said that she would have done the same thing if she had Wanda's powers: She would have brought her mother back. POWERFUL....and full of truth. Wanda looking on her children one last time. Full on tears...8/13
Wanda and Vision, one last time. FULL ON TEARS. Wanda herself at the VERY END, full on Dr. Stranging it with the Darkhold...NO...FUKN....CAMEO....NEEDED. Just Wanda. I pray Fiege and Co continue her journey appropriately, and don't destroy the strong woman she is...9/13
Every woman is different, every woman's journey is different. Deeply personal, and different. Wanda's journey throughout this show, especially the final 2 episodes...was deeply personal for me. Tho it's fiction...women experience this grief and loss IN THE REAL WORLD...10/13
Maybe it's time for those who don't UNDERSTAND to just shut up and LISTEN to ONE fan who CONNECTED. Instead of shit-take tweets, stop to think. In the way Luke Skywalker being badass in The Mandalorian was DEEPLY PERSONAL for MANY a lad (and possibly lass)...11/13
is WHY WANDA'S STORY WAS DEEPLY PERSONAL TO ME! No cameo necessary, wanted, or required. Just....Wanda. I may not have opened a single mind or heart with this thread...but if I have gotten thru to ONE...then this was worth sharing...12/13
I may not have lost children...but I DID lose the DREAM of them. Loss is loss. Nothing else needs to be explained. Everyone has suffered it Loss is one of the things that connects us ALL. May the Force be with you...ALWAYS! 🙏💙⚔❤

Many of us wanted Rey's hair down and her to wear a glorious dress as a way of integrating the feminine. Notice what they have Wanda wearing... a "tiara" and a dress...plus her hair is DOWN in snake-like tresses.

Wavy, snake-like tresses are sometimes references to the Medusa in mythology.

Medusas often has negative connotations, but in archetypal language, they are empowered in a male-dominated world. And a Medusa is in full power with her snakes.
A woman with her hair down is a wild thing, so to speak. It can mean a freeing of her sexuality or a statement of empowerment. She will no longer allow society to dictate how she wears her hair, in bonnets or buns...She's no longer contained.
