Unfortunately there are ghouls that perpetuate this hate and seek to divide, it comes from the top, with lies and blame of others for their own failings and lust for power and greed. Generations before us fought against this hate #lestweforget
It just highlights how important it is that we know about our past and that ignoring or suppressing the truth about our past will only exacerbate these kinds or issues; when the likes of @nationaltrust or our education bodies want to teach people, the govt want to suppress this
It’s important we read and learn from our past good and bad, and the likes of @Sathnam @Baddiel and others get abuse for shining a light on this, egged on by the media and the ruling govt. #notohate
Can I just add, this isn’t about one faith against another; gravesend has a magnificent community spirit and cohesiveness between all faiths; and we have not seen such graffiti since the days of the NF; these people need educating.
