Immediately embraced by the likes of /pol/ and Kiwi Farms, #superstraight is the latest iteration of seemingly innocuous phrases or symbols, used to carry (ironically or not) hateful messaging into the mainstream.

This is an op and a gag along the lines of the “OK” hand sign, “It’s Okay To Be White” & “Sovereign Nations Have Borders” - all of which are now key messages of white supremacy and hate.

Even the super straight “flag,” a cross-section image of orange and black is allegedly based on the colours of the Pornhub logo, though the origin of the claim is questionable (4chan is the source).

Like the IOTBW posters, what these individuals want is outrage, controversy & more importantly, media attention. This thread is intended to provide context, but ultimately, without oxygen the flames of super straight will flicker away.
