There will be naysayers that mention the job is incomplete. But thousands of FN have safe fresh water because of the Liberal government. More have been completed than remain to be done.

Ten years of mismanagement by Conservatives. Several more by Martin and Chrétien Liberals and Mulroney Progressive Conservatives.

35 years of mismanagement and inferior equipment for difficult circumstances.

As if that could be solved overnight or within months.

Conservatives would have let FN and Métis communities continue to struggle.

NDP have no concept of how long 35 years of negligence takes to resolve.

Cruelty or fantasy.

Solved by practicality of hard work, targeted effort and long term maintenance.

The most difficult communities to solve the safe drinking water issue and those with shared responsibility with provincial govts remains to be addressed.

After reaching 101 safe drinking water solutions, is there any doubt the work will continue?

Is there any faith in those stating the problem has been ignored? Or trust in those who exacerbated the problem but made their supportive friends able to pocket profits for inadequate and insufficient equipment and training?

Everyone deserves clean and safe drinking water.

There may be setbacks. There may need to be additional resources where water quality is difficult to purify and treat.

But the progress is measurable and observable.

That friends is called leadership and putting taxpayer money where the government’s mouth was.
