The Dharma has always been followed by people of Hind, Hindus, ie Bharatvarsha!

Only in span of 2 millenniums, various religions popped in. The idea of differences was termed as religion.

In Bharat, differences were there but fundamental same: Dharma!
Bharat had a Dharmik way of life. Rest of the world had way of life to establish differences.

Christianity came to overpower Jews.

Islam came to overpower Christian Byzantines.

Differences were must. The prophets had to be claimed to be belonging to own land.
When Religions collided with Dharma, we failed to see them as Dharma but they saw us as a religion since we were different to them.

Differences was very visible as our way of life was not to create “Dharma” to overpower others alike “Religions.”
In the given time. We have 2 ways of life:
1)Dharmik
2)Adharmik

Creating differences for power is an Adharmik way & hence Religions were Adharmik.
Now the question arises, is “Hindu Dharma” a religion or a “way of life?”

It needs to be understood that both religions & dharma are ways of life. It’s a principle that you embed in daily routine.
It’s unfortunate that colonisation has made the word “Religion” equivalent to “Dharma”, though case isn’t true.

The case is like “Dharmik” traditions are up against “Religions” & recognised word is “Religion”.
The moment we say “Hindu Dharma” isn’t a religion, we will have no identity.

Mind it, right now “Dharma” is used as translation of “Religion” though with given qualities, Dharma isn’t translatable.
It also must be kept in mind, that we need to push for decolonisation of terminologies related to “Hindus”.

Dharma should become acceptable word along with religion, & till then let’s not keep arguing that Hindu Dharma isn’t a religion.
It will be a suicidal call.

I find both Hindu Dharma being called religion & Hinduism aa oxymoron but with the adversity existing right now, I will need to chose “Hinduism : a religion.”

Someone wrote the book”I Am No Messiah”,but this man should be first understand what “Messiah”means.

It’s a Judaic term by root & is the one(Jewish leader in line of David)who is supposed to:
1) Unify the tribes of Israel
2)make the gathering of all Jews to Eretz Israel
3) Rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem,
4)ushering in of a Messianic Age of global universal peace
5)bring annunciation of the world to come

The Greek translation of Messiah is Khristós anglicized as Christ.
Christians in gen refer to Jesus of Nazareth as either the "Christ" or the "Messiah", believing that the messianic prophecies were fulfilled in the mission, death, and resurrection of Jesus. Its believed that he will return to fulfill the rest of messianic prophecies.

#SadarPranam to Ishvara within you @AudreyTruschke !

By your logic Islam should be most narrow political ideology, isn’t it? As even Laden cited Quran while declaring Jihad over USA.

Point to be noted is that Osama always used Islam as cause.
Only a stupid would say that -tva(ness) is narrower & -ism greater. -Ism is all about singularity whole -tva(ness) is character: a state to be something. Here: state of being Hindu.

Dear @AudreyTruschke which fool taught you that -ness is narrow & -ism better?
Damn the Brits like u were fools who ended up adding -ism to word “Hindu”, for they couldn’t get it that a faith can be so pluralistic.

They thought Hindu Dharma too be as dogmatic as Christianity.

1/n #SadarPranam to Ishvara within you @ShashiTharoor ji.

Look at this other side of Abul Kalam. (In this thread). This is Islamist shade.

Let me begin with his speech on
27/10/1914 (Kol):

“One momin for another momin is like one brick assisting another brick in a wall.+
2/n ... This biradri (community of Muslims) has been established by God…All relationships in the world can break down but this relationship can never be severed.”

He further says:
“It is possible a father turns against his son, not impossible that a mother separates...+
3/n ... her child from her lap, it is possible that one brother becomes the enemy of other brother. But the relationship that a Chinese Muslim has with an African Muslim, an Arab bedouin has with the Tatar shepherd,... +

No. I’m not sitting on twitter at ease like you guys. You see, even without tagging you come searching like how a per goes behind bone with smell.

I cited the name randomly without citing proper journal. I gave proper name when I was home.
Like a cheap troll @Farid_0v you didn’t care to read the journal as it would have come through permission through library.

That apart I also cited “Old Book of Tang” & explained how it’s academically accepted fact that Chinese saw Quraysh to have evolved from Tayyaye.
But no, like a typical Islamist sadakchap troll , @Farid_0v you kept showering Ad hominem.

You following same age old tactic of trying to hound me instead of coming of level playing ground by reading books. You want everything free ! Shameless spineless Islamist!
