AND just weirdly obsessed with “proving” that world leaders are secretly the child of (INSERT VILLAIN HERE).

The classic case is, of course, claiming that Merkel is Hitler’s daughter; but here, the anon claims Justin Trudeau is Fidel Castro's son 🤷‍♂️
Also, in response to the guy who asked for a "list," an anon produced a zillion-page spreadsheet of celebrities and their fates.

I KNOW this is bait but I still wonder: why is Melinda Gates just marked "deceased?" Literally no one else on the spreadsheet has that by their name.

This is an INCREDIBLE find by @SethDaire.

Not only does it resolve (IMO) The Mystery of Drop 35™, but it has -- in one stroke -- forced me to change my opinion of whether Q was an evangelical: I now think it's unlikely.

So, the mystery of drop 35 is: in the excerpt below, Q mashes together two famous verses (John 3:16 and a selection from 1 Corinthians 13) in a way that's COMPLETELY alien to how Christians use the Bible.

Now, that seems weirdly specific. How likely is it that Q even WENT to Bible Gateway?

Turns out it's *very* likely.

See, BG is the most popular site out there for Biblical text lookup (it's a top-1000 site OVERALL, per Alexa). Its only serious competition is Bible Hub. 3/

Longtime readers will know that I'm not ridin' the "QAnon is Russia!" train -- but I like and respect @Dragnet_News, who IS riding the train but is a tenacious & knowledgeable passenger.

One part of this article is especially interesting.

The article notes that Your News Wire (a fake news site described by an EU body as a "Russian proxy") made a claim that dovetailed VERY nicely with Q's predictions: it said that John Podesta was arrested on November 4, 2017 -- just like Q had claimed.

This is indeed interesting!

What Dragnet News *doesn't* mention, but IMO probably should have, is that Your News Wire wasn't the only fake news site to publish that story on November 5.

A British site called Neon Nettle ran the same story...

Have these fuckers learned nothing from the "Antifa civil war" they expected on 11/4/17?

And all the OTHER claims of civil war and CoMMuNiSt iNSuRgEncY the right wing has fallen for *since* then?

... Oh, right! They've learned that the claims keep believers riled up.
And SINCE the claims work when there's a deadline attached, why not just... extend the LARP indefinitely?

Yesterday I talked about how QAnon spread in part because it's a shared world-building project -- collaborating with friends to build a fantasy world is fun and creative.

@nickmartin is MUCH better placed than I am to say if the people engaging w/*this* fantasy are having fun.

IMO we don't spend enough time talking about how Q's followers -- a whole lot of 'em, anyway -- straight-up take orders from Q.

Consider Jenn here: Q talked about making QAnon more mainstream, so she did interviews.

Or consider the "digital camouflage" drop, or the Oath, etc.
We REALLY dodged a bullet when Q more or less stopped posting after November 3rd.

How bad would it have been if Q *had* posted something like "Storm (insert city here)'s ballot counting operation to save the state for Trump?"

I'm guessing... bad. Very, very bad.
So why *didn't* Q do it?

If Q really is, as some people have speculated, a foreign "psyop" aimed at sowing division in US society,

A) why not *use it* operationally to plunge us into a terrible constitutional crisis?

and

B) why abandon it at all?

Ron Watkins (the once and perhaps future admin of 8kun) has broken his silence on Telegram.

His last message, on Inauguration Day, featured a passage widely lampooned as "the real Storm was the friends we made along the way," *which was an almost-fair paraphrase*.

Now he says:
I don't think he's gonna come off QUITE as well as he imagines he will. But that's just me!

Here's his January 20th message, BTW.
Watkins, who spent the months between the election and the inauguration trying to start a civil war (at one point explicitly urging Trump to "cross the Rubicon"), *also* found the time to rebrand himself as an "expert" on voting machines, because he claimed he'd read a manual. 🙄
