Fino all'11 Marzo 2011 si parlava diffusamente di "Rinascimento Nucleare": l'incidente di Chernobyl era attribuito ai fallimenti del regime sovietico, Three Miles Island era stato convenientemente messo nel dimenticatoio, e l'industria nucleare giapponese veniva considerata lo /
stato dell'arte, l'esempio di come un nucleare completamente sicuro fosse possibile.
Poi arrivò #Fukushima, che dimostrò che così non era e che l'industria nucleare "più sicura" del pianeta era in realtà, come le altre, centro di inefficienze interessate e di interessi che /
facevano passare in secondo piano il tema della sicurezza a beneficio di considerazioni di tipo economico.
In non molti sanno, per esempio, che Fukushima avrebbe dovuto essere stato già "spento" prima dell'incidente, ma la licenza fu estesa:
