MegaAnon was the most successful LARPer on 4chan when Q came around.

To be clear, I don't think she was Q. There are a TON of differences between them. But her basic story -- at least, the story she was telling a few days before Q popped into being -- was AWFULLY familiar. 1/12

Like Q, MegaAnon's theories, too, were spun off from Pizzagate -- they centered on child sex abuse & claimed that Trump was saving kids from the swamp. 3/

In this post, *one day* before Q's debut, she writes: "So you missed the 2 busts last week alone with more than 400 adults arrested in Myrtle Beach and FL and 200+ kids as young as 3 months saved?"

So why did I say she's NOT Q?

Well, partly there are a TON of differences between them, starting with prose style. But also: oh boy, they had a... complicated relationship, folks. At first she was basically cool with Q, and even gave "Q brah" (she said "brah" a LOT) a 👍. 5/

Here's the post in question, where she writes that "QAnon is breaking down a ton of detail in a more /pol/-friendly format" than she'd ever managed, and "doing a fantastic job." 6/

But that was from November 4, 2017. It was early days for Q, and while Q was a VERY big deal, she clearly felt there was still enough oxygen on /pol/ for both of 'em.

But things changed. By the 22nd she claimed that "no Q after 10/31 is legitimate." 7/
