Thread; WILD #breakingnews: "Israel has achieved significant progress in shaping the future of mobility, introducing a national drone network that will primarily enable cargo transportation in urban areas through smart and innovative airspace management"

Credit Zvika Goldstein Image
"The drones flying in the demonstration will perform about 300 sorties a day. Each drone will be simulating the execution of various types of tasks and operations: food delivery, transporting medicine and medical equipment, agricultural services and many others."
Since March 2020, the Israel C4IR Center at the Israel Innovation Authority, in cooperation with the Israel Ministry of Transport and the Civil Aviation Authority of Israel, and a number of other entities, have been working to promote the use of drone delivery as a service.

It would be unlikely that Saudi Arabia would buy Turkish drones, despite the latest claims of Ankara. Remember the false Turkey-Greek drones story. Anyway; BUT: Riyadh does need drones, it had acquired Chinese drones. US looks to reduce barring offensive weapon sales to Saudi
Question is if you’re Saudi Arabia and need drones where else do you buy armed drones besides 🇨🇳 or 🇺🇸....of course there are other manufacturers of loitering munitions, for instance. Riyadh doesn’t have relations yet with one of them.

Thread on #IronDome, Israel announced today #breakingnews that the air defense system "was tested in a range of complex scenarios and successfully intercepted and destroyed targets; emerging threats, including the simultaneous interception of multiple UAVs, salvo of rockets..."
This matters. Israel's Defense Minister Benny Gantz: "these new capabilities provide the political echelon and defense establishment with the operational flexibility that is critical to our national security." There were also two recent Iron Dome flight tests.
In February, as I wrote, Israel tested the system at sea, this time it was in southern Israel; defensenews.com/training-sim/2…

Thread: Interesting narrative here, the concept of “western” clothes and how shopping and appearance makes someone “one of us”...of course it obscures the larger question of how many people, despite “western clothes” travelled to join and support extremism
It might be that there is no connection between shopping on “Oxford street” and being an extremist...nor that “western clothes” make someone either good or bad.
There were some 5,000 or more ISIS volunteers from EU countries, many Yazidi and other victims reported that the foreign volunteers were often cruel and even worse than locals. So “western clothes” might not be a deciding factor here.

When people say that US political campaigns have becoming increasingly expensive...it's not because the money is being used to put adds in front of voters...they are expensive because money is just re-routed to various consultants and "strategists."
US politics is increasingly just a shell game of shell companies...so when people say that this year's election costs more than the past...none of that money really goes into the "election" or even the "campaigning"...it's just that the US has a well-oiled machine moving money
The fact that in just this ONE case some tens of millions were re-routed isn't unique...guarantee this is the tip of the iceberg...you think this one group invented this all on their own...or they learned it over the years as how business of politics is done.
