Shocking news from Gujarat. #AmarJoshi a Brahmin in Gujarat’s Muslim dominant village had his farm encroached by one Aslam and when he filed a case, the cop was one PSI Khan.
Then a mob attacked Joshi at his home, murdered him with sword and injured his daughter.

The people who encroached #AmarJoshi ‘s land are connected. The Police Sub-inspectora was Khan is their relative. Another one in the family - one Moyina Bi won the municipal elections as a corporator. Their mob while celebrating victory attacked #AmarJoshi’s home and killed him.

No mainstream media is covering this case despite this happening in BJP rules Gujarat state. If we could gather such a massive internet crowd for #RinkuSharma, please spare a thought for #AmarJoshi too and ask for justice.

The family of #AmarJoshi was being threatened by the local goons of Khan to withdraw the land encroachment case since 2013, but Amar was an upright man and RSS activist. He got butchered in broad day light with celebratory music playing with DJ in the background by the murderers.

#AmarJoshi died when the mob attacked him with swords, sticks and sharp objects. His daughter is badly injured but not life-threatening.
They had previously beaten Amar Joshi 5 years ago and broken his leg badly but Amar was a brave warrior who wasn’t afraid.

The family of #AmarJoshi that survived includes his wife, two young daughters and a male child. The primary breadwinner of the family is dead, one daughter injured and the farm land encroached upon in a Muslim majority village. What will they do now??

#AmrabhaiBoricha was the only Dalit family in the Darbar dominant village. His farm was encroached upon by Darbars. Boricha filed a case in 2013. The Darbars broke his leg and threatened him since.

Nobody seems to notice a news piece that’s out in media where an upper caste (even if @INCIndia associated) mob murders a Dalit man in his house over his own land.
This is in Gujarat. @BJP4India ruled state.
Caste identities supersede party politics.

This happened two weeks ago, was reported in papers. I saw no social media mention, let alone an outrage, until I saw @jigneshmevani80 mention this in a Guj state assembly address and looked the case up.
Nobody cares for Dalit lives.

It’s very likely @BJP4India cadre keeps mum because they don’t want Gujarat looking bad. The @INCIndia doesn’t mention it because the murderers are associated with their party.
Nobody wants to take @jigneshmevani80 seriously.
#AmrabhaiBoricha’s life holds value to nobody.

Due to the previous threats from the Darbars #AmrabhaiBoricha was ordered to be given police protection by the Court. Only recently the police changed it from SRP protection to ‘Gram Raksha Dal’ protection. The local police is also Darbar controlled including PSI Solanki.

#AmrabhaiBoricha was murdered by a mob of 50 Darbars with swords, speaks and sticks while his ‘gram raksha Dal’ protection was there, with DJ music playing in the background. Inside his own house.
