5. We reported last week, the Exeter study that terrifies them of the "variant" in question, did NOT adjust for comorbidities. Neither did the Nature study. It would be great if they would explain how that works.
6. Mass. and Florida had no deathly bumps from this variant. And traditionally when viruses mutate like COVID -19 did to B117 it becomes less lethal. Decades of virology are being tossed out the window to support a new fear campaign.
7. Brilliant Human Genome scientist Kevin McKernan is skeptical of the B117 narrative, its lethality and the testing they use to find it.
A much-hyped study used right now by Ontario for tighter lockdowns citing a more deadly 3rd wave is hugely flawed. Yet it underpins a PH scarefest alleging a UK variant ups the death risk by up to 100%.
The study’s conclusion; UK variant has "the potential to cause substantial additional mortality". And for Team Apocalypse, it adds the perfect argument to throw away the keys… "further coordinated and stringent measures are justified".
But near the end of the paper, a less scary note with this: "The absolute risk of death in this largely unvaccinated population remains low". Oh, so … not so scary after all. But there’s more...
