If private school forces students to leave third language which they studied for 3 yrs & abruptly asks them to switch to another language, what's the recourse?

As third language, you have Telugu, Bangla, Sanskrit, Urdu, Tamil, even French, any language depending on state or city.

But when teacher is available, yet, school principal gets rigid, wants to force. Parents can't speak up, fear kid would be targeted, if they raise issue more.

The schools don't fall under state govt ambit. Children suffer but at a critical moment unable to speak against own school because of obvious reasons.

There must be ways to deal with autocracy. People try media, plaint to panel, delegation but proper system to redress?

In 9th-10th standard, when it's time to focus for future, parents-students have to deal with learning totally new language afresh, worry that they must not fail, give too much time to it, because of idiosyncrasy of a principal or a person in school management.

At ground level, if an activist or group takes up & files complaints here or there, manages to get media attention, school may be forced to withdraw decision for a year or lie low.
But technically, properly no system to deal with this madness. CBSE, plaints to RO?

Imagine, hundreds of students in different sections of all these classes, they suffer, but because there is no system, as a result schools run like personal property, on whims and fancies & because CBSE has no such mechanism, things are totally messed up.
