Kelly Meggs of Florida allegedly created an alliance between extremist groups ahead of Jan. 6, according to messages released by Justice Dept.

Kelly Meggs is a 52 y/o from Marion County, Florida. His defense attorneys are seeking his release from custody pending trial, arguing he's not accused of physical damage inside Capitol and that prosecutors have sought to "inflame" the court with accusations
