Probably, this is from where I picked up the virus. Or, the virus decided to use my body as a host.

In the evening when I reached home, I was feeling down. Thinking it to be due to exertion, i popped a pill & retired early.

Next day: I traveled to Pune for case. Finished it in first half. Was back home by 5.30 PM. A meeting was scheduled at office at 7 PM

The Boss: you look tired. Touched my forehead & said - u also hv fever.

Boss made me cancel the meeting. Gave a paracetamol tab. I was fine.

We were to travel to Malegaon on Saturday morning for Holi vacation.
Boss said: Let's postpone it by a day. You take rest for the full day on Saturday.

I managed to convince her to let me go to office in the 2nd half.

By 3 PM, Saturday I was in office.

Was finalizing a draft when suddenly at 6.30 PM my fingers began trembling. I started shivering. I rushed to Bombay Hospital casualty dept.

They did the BP/pulse/O2 etc. All normal. They did rapid antigen test for Covid-19. Asked me to go home & self isolate, waiting for result

By the time I reached home, test result was +ve. I isolated myself and decided to do RT PCR test next morning for myself & Boss. Cause we were the only 2 people in the house.

Boss took precaution and did not allow the household help to come in to do the dishes & chores.

Sunday morning : we went to the nearest lab at 8 AM. We were told that the swab would be taken only after 10 AM as it was Sunday & they were short of staff.

I was feeling fit & fine. No symptoms. No fever. Nothing.

Boss: let's go to Malegaon & do the tests there.

So I drove to Malegaon. Reached home in 4 hours due to near zero traffic. We isolated ourselves. Called the lab-guy. He took swab Covid test & blood sample for CBC/LDH/CRP/D DIMER etc.

In about a few hours the blood reports came. It indicated infection.

So the Doc put me on medication.
1. FabiFlu 9 tabs of 200mg each - twice on the first day. Then 4 tabs twice a day for next 5 days.
2.Betnesol - once a day.
3. Azee - once a day.
4. Limcee 500 Thrice a day & Zincovit.
5. Dabigo 110 mg - twice

Boss wasn't put on medication.

I had no symptoms. No fever. No drowsiness, body ache, cough, sneezing etc etc.

I ate proper dinner. Actually a feast. Holi dinner is always a feast at home. Smell & taste intact.

Today evening -

RT PCR -

Boss - -ve

Me - +ve score- 126.5

Still - No symptoms.

Now that I'm in quarantine & will remain so for next 12 days - I'll continue this thread as a personal account of Covid-19 infection.
