#Akali #SGPC were cowering in their juttis when separatists took control of revered Gurudwaras in Punjab. At that time #RSS stood up firmly against separatists. Its Shakhas were attacked, scores of swayamsevaks died. Rashtriya Suraksha Samiti came on roads to fight separatism 1/n
Not once did #Akali_SGPC criticised #Congress for letting NankanaSahib go to Pakistan, just 5 km away from new border carved out by British. 2/n
#Nehru wanted to ban #Akalis and #RSS for fighting Islamist killers and rapists during Partition. This was roundly condemned by newspapers like Tribune and Congress kept quiet. But today SGPC condemns RSS! 3/n
#Akalis_SGPC combine enjoyed power with #BJP for 30 years, but never found its association with #RSS problematic. Today they are going back to 1980s. 4/n
#Akalis with SGPC passed #AnandpurSahib resolution in 1970s that talks of supremacy of religion over Constitution in state (Punjab), that keeps quiet on Khalistani demand for Khalistan inside India, not Pakistan with more territory under #MaharajaRanjitSingh. 5/n
#RSS has never talked of theocratic state as it is alien to Hindu philosophy. Neither ancient kings, nor Shivaji discriminated anyone on the basis of religion. This hue and cry is surrender to extremist elements within Sikh panth. 6/n
#RSS has never talked of absorbing #Sikhs into Hindu mainstream and destroy their unique identity. When separatists tried to stop Hindu-Sikh weddings happening for centuries during 1980s, Sikhs stood up against their dictate. 7/n
#Akalis #SGPC are stirring a poisonous pot that saw their near annihilation by separatists in 1980s. They could ride to power only with support of BJP & RSS in Punjab. Now been isolated in Punjab they are playing poisonous politics again. Let us not fall prey to these cynics 8/8

Save these photos. Proof of Niranjan Pal going to a young and wealthy Jawaharlal Nehru in 1910 (when Savarkar was arrested in London and Nehru was studying in Britain) & asking for Nehru's contribution for a fund collection drive started for Savarkar by his supporters in England
included English admirers of Savarkar like David Garnett. Nehru not only refused to donate but had Niranjan Pal thrown out. The Prince of Dharampur Chandradevji secretly donated 500 pounds for this cause.
Nehru was given parole twice a week in 1935 to visit ill wife. He was kept in a palatial guest house with all facilities. Savarkar was sent to Kala Pani in Andamans, made to do hard labour, work of bull of taking out of oil.

Finished reading @Aabhas24 #BookModiAgain. It could be called a Handbook of ideological battlefield for confused Indian youth. It is not just a tale of self discovery of his roots, but could be a story of many youth lost in #Leftist quicksand of word play.
The first part of self discovery is most interesting. Quotes from Left "eminent" historians in courts about #RamMandir are most amusing and revealing. Indian #Left failings could've been elaborated further.
His discovery of Hindutva vs Hinduism myth shows his independent study and that he is no Sanghi. Like many young Indians he is trying hard to find his way through jungles of Left #Secular jargon and ideological confusion.
