There has been a series of events on Pak-India front in the last few weeks it will be imp to look at these events in the backdrop of a third party mediation. Two Middle East countries have exerted pressure on Pakistan to nuetraluse antagonism rampant against Modi regime1/6
However، depite the investment of certain quarters into #BJP and #Modiregime, it's not in Pakistan's interest to succumb to the pressure exerted by quarters which have larger agendas which often remain ignorant to what suits Pak best.Let's not forget, we always stressed peace
Pakistan n India relations have always been intense and to say the least, complicated. As it is, there will always be hiccups, under the present government in India, they become next to impossible. Recent developments can be a step towards re-establishment of working relations.
In the larger scheme of things, it's irrelevant if the thaw is due to outside advice or a bilateral initiative.Relevant is that peace suits both nuclear powers and years down the line, whoever fixes the warring designs of two nuclear armed neighbours will be remembered as hero
It was always understood that in jingoistic, extremist policies of India against Pakistan which have run consistently among every successive government, #BJP could be the populist deal broker. The past is testamount to this fact. In Pakistan , whose in government matters less
However, the present regime of #BJP has just too much baggage. The Muslim massacre, the dissection of Kashmir, the Hindu supremacist agenda، the utter violation of human rights and the planned genocide۔ Yet, if any hope of peace prevails,it must be entertained۔
It's imperative to understand that the rmtense situation in 2019 was triggered by an event in Kashmir, unless Kashmir issue is addressed، there will never be a guarentee of permanance of peace۔ Realistcally, if Kashmir is not solved comprehensively, there will be no progress.

1500,000 dollars paid to Mr James under the out of court settlement at the guidance of "smart" Pakistani government, also, NAB paid a sum of 250,000 dollars in settlement of the claims by IAR, in 2008. Mr James died in 2011/2. So the money was paid in vain.
The repudiatory damages were paid according to clause 4 of ARA.
Here is the clause 4 of ARA, the Asset Recovery Agreement dated 20th June, 2000. Under the ARA, in relation to assets recovered, the defendant was to receive 20 per cent of the amount available to be transferred. This is exactly what @sayedzbukhari had said on our show last week.

@TPRPod London, office of Jang, Geo, had been reading a book by Benazir Bhutto, finished the last 2 chapters after her death,it was eerie, anyway, I had placed my things on my desk and gone to make coffee,I was thinking it will be a bland day news wise because Pak will be busy with rally
@TPRPod Suddenly, I heard running footsteps, a senior reporter from Jang ran to @aamirghauri at his desk and told him that there was a blast and BB was badly injured, everyone ran to turn on the volumes of all TV screens, there was huge panick everywhere in office
@TPRPod @aamirghauri I called our desk in Karachi, they said they were not sure what happened, everyone had hoped she would be safe like last time, the reporter at the rally in Rawalpindi was totally shocked, I remember the news of her death was already being murmured at burue before it was announced

For those who thought,it mattrted little who is the President in the USA for Pakistan, I want to say think again. Many of us, cheered for @BarackObama in our college days and early careers. Why? Because he said words we wanted to hear. He made us dream. He made us feel involved.
So apparently, despite not having a vote in USA, we cheered at seminars in UK Universities,we prayed for his victory.@BarackObama spoke of an inclusiveness and positivity that was the haven for all minorities across the world. The political correctness of his "Change" resonated
However, the increased number of drone attacks and blind expectancy to "do more ", the inability to call the troops back from Afghanistan despite the eagerness to do it along with many other disappointments started to accelerate the end of the era of political correctness.

Some more points on #MotowayIncident that must be looked at in investigation. We need to clear the basics ,she was an educated n confident person who was at the wrong place at the wrong time. The misleading sleazy /twisted details like who filed the FIR etc need to be ignored. 1/8
Investigation also needs to look at the following points. Why the attackers were so confident that she was alone, her car was locked and noone was coming to help her?How come they were sure abt how much time they had. Roadside could be place for bulgary/dacoity, not always for rape
She reached the toll plaza and paid for the toll. Asked for the nearest petrol pump.Moved forward. The car stopped. She called the motorway helpline, they apologised but gave her the local number. The person on the number came on what's app and took her location. Told her to wait.

Some more details on the sad #motorwayincident .The woman called the emergency number #130 and spoke to them giving them her location. They gave her a local number where she was told to call for help. She called that number and gave them the location too. She ,them waited for help
She is, obviously too traumatised to recollect everything.Yet, she said it was a long wait. She is of the opinion that she waited for at least an hour. She also said her car has special type of windows. It was next to impossible for an outsider to tell she was alone in the car.
When the men appeared, they headed straight for her car. They were also carrying a gun. One of them carried her two year old as they dragged her along. She tried running away once and waved at a passerby car. She said she was sure the car had stopped and she was relieved.

Just had a very sad conversation of the victims in Lahore rape incident. The story is heartbreaking and gives goosebumps. @ImranKhanPTI and @UsmanAKBuzdar must show zero tolerance in this case. The educated girl has travelled on this route frequently in the past. 1/6
The woman was at family friend's home. They advised her repeatesky not to go at that hour but she had travelled this route regularly, finding it safe. What came as a surprise was the finishing of petrol. She immediately called the motorway police emergency line when car stopped2/6
The police took her location. She was aware of her situation, so she locked her windows and doors. Two men (demons) appeared out of nowhere and started threatening her, they had long sticks and heavy stones, she screamed but could not move her car, they smashed the car windows3/6
