@Hadithoftheday Ramadan.
Allah says in Qur'an:
"The month of Ramadan [is that] in which was revealed the Qur'an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion."
(Qur'an. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 185)
@Hadithoftheday Allah revealed Quran in Night of Al-Qadr i.e Night of Decree. Night of Decree is in Ramadan.
Allah says in Qur'an:
"Indeed, We sent the Qur'an down during the Night of Decree."
(Qur'an. Al-Qadr 97: Verse 1)
@Hadithoftheday The revelation of Qur'an began in the month of Ramadan. The night in which the Quran began to be revealed is referred in the Quran as the blessed night.
Allah says in Qur'an:
We sent it (the Quran) down on a blessed night or the night of Decree (44:2).
@Hadithoftheday At the age of 40, Prophet ﷺ received the first Revelation from Allah sent through Jibrael A.S
The first revealed word was "Iqra"- which means to "Read/Recite"
The first Revelation was received in Cave of Hira
Thus Surah Al-Alaq is Ist chapter to have been revealed on Prophet ﷺ
@Hadithoftheday The first Revelation of the Quran included initial Five Verses of Chapter, Al-Alaq, which refers to “a clot of blood”.
Allah says in Qur'an:
“Recite in the name of your Lord who created – Created man from a clinging substance. (Qur'an - 96:1-2) +
@Hadithoftheday Recite and your Lord is the most Generous – Who taught by the pen – Taught man that which he knew not.” [Qur'an, 96: 3-5]
@Hadithoftheday "Read" is the first word revealed in Qur'an.
The first word revealed to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ from Allah was “Iqra” which means to Read!
The Quran stresses the importance of reading, studying, reflecting and investigating in it's First revealed verse.
@Hadithoftheday The Qur’an was revealed to the Prophet ﷺ in stages over a period of twenty-three years. Allah says in Qur'an:
“And (it is) a Qur’aan which We have divided (into parts), in order that you might recite it to men at intervals. And We have revealed it by stages” - [al-Isra’ 17:106]
@Hadithoftheday Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar.
In this Month, we are ordered to fast.
It is also in this month that lies LAYLATUL QADR a night which is greater than a 1000 months of worship.
In this blessed month, first verse of Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
@Hadithoftheday Qur'an was first revealed in the night of Laylatul-Qadr.
Allah says in Qur'an:
"Indeed, We sent the Qur'an down during the Night of Decree."
(Quran: Al-Qadr 97: Verse 1)
"The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months."
(Quran: Al-Qadr 97: Verse 3)

@Hadithoftheday No.
One can't fast all year as there are two Eids in one year and it's Haram to fast in Eid Days.
Narrated Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri R.A:
The Prophet ﷺ forbade fasting on the day of al-Fitr and al-Nahr.” - (Bukhaari, 1992; Muslim, 827)
@Hadithoftheday It is also haraam to fast on the days of al-Tashreeq which are the three days after Eid al-Adha (the 11th, 12th and 13th of Dhu’l-Hijjah) because the Prophet ﷺ said: “The days of al-Tashreeq are days of eating, drinking and remembering Allaah.” Narrated by Muslim, 1141.
@Hadithoftheday Aside from the days on which it is forbidden to fast - the two days of Eid, the three days of Al-Tashreeq (11th, 12th, 13th of Dhul-Hijjah), the Prophet ﷺ would fast intermittently throughout the year. Based on one’s capacity, fasting is a beloved act of worship.
@Hadithoftheday Umar Ibn Al Khattab R.A.
At his death bed, Abu Bakr R.A nominated Umar as his successor, who then became the Caliph in 13 AH (634 CE)
& ruled for ten years until 23 AH (644 CE)
Umar R.A was the first Muslim leader to be called "Ameer -Al-Muminin (the Commander of the Faithful)"
@Hadithoftheday Abu Bakr R.A led the Muslims for around two years.
When Abu Bakr R.A felt his own death approaching, he gathered his closest friends and advisers around him and informed them that their allegiance to him was over. +
@Hadithoftheday Abu Bakr R.A hoped that these men would choose his successor from among themselves. However, after much discussion Abu Bakr’s companions returned to him and asked him to choose for them for they trusted his choice beyond question. Abu Bakr R.A chose Umar R.A.
@Hadithoftheday Sayyidah Fatimah R.A.
All the children of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ apart from Fatimah R.A died during the lifetime of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
Fatimah R.A died after approx ± 90 days after the death of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
Fatimah R.A was the youngest daughter of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
@Hadithoftheday Fatimah R.A was described as the "Leader of the women in Jannah". (Bukhari).
The Prophet ﷺ was reported to have said that, “The best women in the entire world are four: Maryam, Asiya - the wife of Pharaoh, Khadijah - and Fatimah R.A.
@Hadithoftheday Before the passing away of Prophet ﷺ , He ﷺ informed Fatimah R.A that she will be the first of his family to join him.” So she wept. Then he said, “Would it not please Fatima R.A to be the leader of the women of Paradise or the women of the believers?” So she smiled.’
(Bukhari)
@Hadithoftheday Sayyidna Uthman R.A
The well is known today as Bi’ir Uthman or Bi’ir Rummah.
In Madinah, water was scarce & control of the wells was tightly held by several men.
As Uthman R.A was a skilful trader & negotiator, he set about trying to procure a well for the use of the Muslims

@Hadithoftheday The Ant.
Allah says in Qur'an:
Until, when they came upon the valley of the ants, an ant said, “O ants, enter your dwellings that you not be crushed by Sulaiman and his soldiers while they perceive not.” (Al Qur’an 27:18)
@Hadithoftheday One day, Sulaiman A.S gathered his troops of jinn, humans and birds. They marched in strict discipline towards the direction of the valley of ants. If they were to trample on the ant’s nest, it spelt doom for the entire ant community residing there.+
@Hadithoftheday The ant heard the approach of the army. She was aware that ants, being one of the smallest insects and often most overlooked by people, were barely noticeable.
She knew that Sulaiman A.S and his troops were likely to crush them. +
The only chapter named after a female or lady in the Quran is Maryam A.S
A chapter named after her is called Surah Maryam (Chapter 19,verses 98). Maryam A.S is also mentioned in the Holy Quran directly by her name 32 times.
@Hadithoftheday Maryam A. S has an entire chapter in the Qur’an named for her — the only chapter in the Qur’an named for a female figure.
The best of women among the people of Paradise are 4 : Khadija , Fatimah bint Muhammad, "Maryam bint ‘Imran", and ‘Asiyah ,the wife of Pharaoh.” -(Hadith)
@Hadithoftheday Surah Nisa is also another chapter of Quran which is named as "The Women". It is fourth chapter of Qur'an and comprises of 176 verses.
