@Hadithoftheday The Ant.
Allah says in Qur'an:
Until, when they came upon the valley of the ants, an ant said, “O ants, enter your dwellings that you not be crushed by Sulaiman and his soldiers while they perceive not.” (Al Qur’an 27:18)
@Hadithoftheday One day, Sulaiman A.S gathered his troops of jinn, humans and birds. They marched in strict discipline towards the direction of the valley of ants. If they were to trample on the ant’s nest, it spelt doom for the entire ant community residing there.+
@Hadithoftheday The ant heard the approach of the army. She was aware that ants, being one of the smallest insects and often most overlooked by people, were barely noticeable.
She knew that Sulaiman A.S and his troops were likely to crush them. +
@Hadithoftheday Thus,the Ant urgently warned her community of the great danger and ordered them to take refuge in their dwellings.
@Hadithoftheday Allah says in Qur'an:
Until, when they came upon the valley of the ants, an ant said, “O ants, enter your dwellings that you not be crushed by Sulaiman and his soldiers while they perceive not.” (Al Qur’an 27:18)
@Hadithoftheday Allah made the tiny ant’s plea audible to Sulaiman A.S. Sulaiman A.S comprehended her language, could not hold back his smile of amusement and began to laugh.
@Hadithoftheday Allah says in Qur'an:

He said, “My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favour which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to do righteousness of which You approve. And admit me by Your mercy into [the ranks of] Your righteous servants.” (Al Qur’an 27:19)
@Hadithoftheday Even though Sulaiman (AS) possessed all the worldly materialism, when he heard the ant talking about him, he was immediately reminded of Allah and his countless blessings. He acknowledged that it was a gift from Allah and showed gratitude immediately.
@Hadithoftheday Sulaiman A.S commanded the army to change its course, and the destruction of the ant colony was avoided. All this because of the plea of a single ant!
@Hadithoftheday Despite his status and rank, Sulaiman A.S was humble, just and compassionate, not just to the human race but to the most insignificant insect as Sulaiman A.S diverted his entire army in order to avoid trampling an anthill.
@Hadithoftheday Sulaiman A.S ruled over a magnificent kingdom, centred in Jerusalem. Not only was he the ruler of the people, but also of the birds and animals, jinn, clouds and even the wind. There has not been such a glorious and magnificent kingdom seen on earth before or since.
@Hadithoftheday Sulayman A.S was also given the knowledge & science of other things,including the ability to understand the language of the animal kingdom.Yet,unlike ordinary men who are prone to corruption & greed when granted wealth or power,he never forgot to be grateful & obedient to Allah
@Hadithoftheday Lessons:
1.Bravery,sincerity, selflessness,belief & devotion of Ant i.e putting the benefit of her community above her own
She was willing to sacrifice her life to save the rest
2. The ant took responsibility over her community, without any second thought, blaming or complaining+
@Hadithoftheday 3. The Ant behaved in a responsible fashion and took action immediately when it was required, without anyone prompting or ordering her to do so.
4. Allah shows us how insignificant an ant is, but how much one single creature can achieve.
5. Allah loves those who have piety.

@Hadithoftheday Surah/Chapter Maryam.

The only chapter named after a female or lady in the Quran is Maryam A.S

A chapter named after her is called Surah Maryam (Chapter 19,verses 98). Maryam A.S is also mentioned in the Holy Quran directly by her name 32 times.
@Hadithoftheday Maryam A. S has an entire chapter in the Qur’an named for her — the only chapter in the Qur’an named for a female figure.

@Hadithoftheday After Hijrah.
The command to shift the direction of salah to the Kabah was revealed to the Prophet ﷺ about 16-17 months after his immigration to Madinah.
@Hadithoftheday The first Qiblah that Muslims faced in their prayers was Al-Aqsa Masjid in Jerusalem.
In Makkah before the immigration to Madinah, Muslims were commanded to face Jerusalem in their prayer. This was the first Qibla that Muslims faced during the salah.
@Hadithoftheday After immigrating to Madinah, the Muslims continued to face Jerusalem for more 16 or 17 months. The Jews of Madinah rejoiced the fact that the Prophet had to take their sacred city as a Qibla. They used this to spread doubts about the validity of Islam. +

@Hadithoftheday Uncle (Paternal Uncle)
Abu Lahab was son of Abdul Mutalib
Abu Lahab was born in Makkah
His original name was Abdul Uzza
He was nicknamed Abu Lahab on account of his reddish complexion.
Abu Lahab is the only person from the enemies of Islam who has been cursed by name in the Quran
@Hadithoftheday Abu Lahab was one of staunch enemies of Prophet ﷺ & uncle of Prophet ﷺ. He & his wife Umm jamil did everything they could do to prosecute the Prophet ﷺ
Allah says in Qur'an:
"May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, & ruined is he.(111:1)
@Hadithoftheday Allah says in Qur'an:
"His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained."
"He will enter to burn in a Fire of [blazing] flame"
"And his wife [as well] - the carrier of firewood."
"Around her neck is a rope of [twisted] fiber."
(Qur'an. Surah Al-Masad 111: Verse 2-5)

A Thread.
When Prophet Dawood A.S suddenly faced two claimants who later turned out to be angels testing him.
The two angels came in form of claimants & asked Dawood A.S to judge a case.
Dawood A.S passed the verdict listening only one part of story & not the other.
The angels disappeared & he realised they were angels sent by Allah to test him & he had made a mistake
Dawood A.S used to have a special place where he could be alone to perform his worship. This area was off limits to the public. One night, a strange incident happened. Two people entered that place by climbing over the walls.Dawood A.S was understandably alarmed when he saw them+

@Hadithoftheday Dates and Water.

Anas ibn Malik R.A reported: The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, would break his fast before praying with fresh dates. If there were no fresh dates, then with dry dates. If there were no dry dates, then with some sips of water.
- Sunan al-Tirmidhī 696
@Hadithoftheday Salman ibn ‘Amir R.A reported: The Messenger of Allah,ﷺ said, “When one of you breaks his fast, let him break it with dates for they are blessed. If they are not found, let him break it with water for it is pure.”
