2/ All Putin "needs" is (fake) justification to invade. Putin is master of deception. A lie travels halfway around the world before the truth gets out of bed.

Fake news of a "child killed" may be enough to engender outrage + justify escalation + invasion
3/ The goal of learning history's rhymes is to cut off the couplet before it can be repeated...
4/ It's happening...
5/ And the timing would be wise for Putin as Europe / EU is distracted, suffering or locked down from COVID resurgence...

1/ Back NYC 🗽today.

Capital goes where it's welcome + stays where it's well treated. Talent + cash alike.

The MIA momentum is more a diagonal shift SF ↘️ MIA and less NYC ⬇️ MIA (already fast to fly in/out and many do for winters + spring break).

MIA is NY's LA...
2/ These folks + many more are motivated to and already have viral momentum making Miami a thing.

There will surely soon be a MIA type competitive coveted SXSW annual event that will bring tech x music x food x art x culture together...
3/ Those without attachments (family or kids in schools with close friends) or very young kids not yet in school or those with enormous income (fund managers tax haven) will relocate EASILY.

New schools will surely launch and build up to try to be more competitive...

yet subject themselves to criticism (from masses) for spending their cash seeking to futilely possess impermanent status by possessing something RARE and permanent (masquerading as something sublime)

why not turn philanthropy into scalably signal art
(sounds gross + objectifying but no more or less absurd than some NFTs themself)
