Good afternoon! I’m on the ground covering the “Open Air Aztec Market” at Club Bahia in Echo Park.
There are about 20 vendors: lots of traditional garb, feathers, instruments, one person selling “Zapatista Coffee”, and a vegan taco spot called A Pinch Of Love pictured here.
A jewelry vendor here, who was nice enough to let me get in for a very close shot.
Another vendor, who is selling incense.
One man is addressing the crowd, speaking on the Mexica Calendar and the importance of dates in both English and Spanish
Another vendor selling Meso-American items, with some face masks with traditional designs.

Good evening! I’m on the ground in Westwood, near UCLA covering the area during and after the Bruins facing Gonzaga in the Final Four Men’s Basketball Game.

Streets are very quiet right now.
Some LAPD cruisers circling the area with four to a car.
At least one horse mounted unit staged nearby. I asked a few of the LAPD officers if the response unit today was big, and he replied “we are ready,” while nodding his head.

Good afternoon! I’m OTG at the Getty Mansion (mayor’s house) where about 10 people gathered “in solidarity with the unhoused.” LAPD arrived and told protestors there are noise restrictions on protesting homes.
Crowd is up to about 30 now, giving speeches. Lots of talk about the lack of housing for the unhoused.

Following up on reports of an OIS near MacArthur Park roughly an hour ago- there were active IG lives up until about 30 minutes ago.
Currently, the area around MacArthur Park is blocked off. There were IG lives of woman on the island area attacking wildlife that reported the woman had a gun.

I’ve elected not to link them as there is harmful and racist language as well as abusive language toward mentally ill.

Good afternoon! I’m OTG in the Exhi Park Lake area. Things are still developing, but I was able to interview Selena who is an unhoused resident and is on her way to a hotel room provided by Hotel Room Key. She stated all of her things are now lost and her phone is broken.
A gathering has begun which was described by attendees as a “vigil for the community” of Echo Park Lake by the City District Office. About 100 are gathered here.
Well, it’s no longer breaking but I now have a chance to release some of the footage from yesterday after some... interruptions due to being arrested.

At 5:15PM An LAPD car arrived and via loudspeaker told the group to get on the sidewalk “for their safety.”

Yesterday: MAGAs, Proud Boys, Threepers, Q anons gathered at the Beverly Hills sign. I marched with and documented the counter-protest done by Black Bloc orgs.

Police call Unlawful Assembly on Black Bloc crowd for a single fight(not sure who started it but the guy that was in it assaulted a reporter several months ago).
