Lt. Johnny Mercil, a top Minneapolis Police Department official on defensive tactics & use of force policies is testifying now. The Lieutenant is currently on leave from MPD. But he is telling the jury about a 2018 training session he conducted that #DerekChauvin attended.

You may have heard during today's noontime prayer gathering in #Mpls, @AttorneyCrump mentioned #GeorgeFloyd autopsy photos might be presented to the jury today. This is not true. Our courthouse sources are telling us, this type of graphic evidence is expected later in the week.
Prosecutors displayed #DerekChauvin American Heart Association Heartsaver, CPR, AED certification from nearly a decade ago. Currently, Officer Nicole Mackenzie, the Minneapolis Police Dept. Medical Support coordinator is on the stand. Believe she is the 25th state witness so far.
