Hello! I would like to say a small word to people who are nervous about returning to activities post-vax. This is coming from somebody with chronic illnesses and high anxiety, so I want to prep you for some asshole behavior you may be about to encounter.
People with chronic illnesses know one thing very well: our sickness and caution around it makes a lot of people very uncomfortable! It makes people say things like “that seems paranoid!” Or “you worry too much!” Or “but that’s not a real thing!”
Here is the truth, they are not living in your body, and chances are, they do not know if the thing you are concerned about it is real, *they just do not like thinking it might be!*

Hi, men? I’d like to teach you a simple phrase that’s very useful. It’s “why the fuck do you think it is in any way acceptable to show me that?”
You may consider yourself a good guy who would never share a nude, but if you do not say something like the above in this situation?
You are the smokescreen that hides these guys from the rest of us.
The reason rapists and revenge porn-ists and the easy-to-classify sexually assaulting Bad Guys do the things they do is because they are cruel and very messed up.

The reason they almost always get away with it is other guys who do nothing.

I’m not retweeting that doofus but the lines at Disneyland ARE literally ride suppression
Rides have a specific per hour capacity and long, winding queues are designed to stay at it. Also Disney has a financial interest in tiring you out in long, hot lines so you buy food and go into air-conditioned stores.
I know he doesn’t know anything about government or politics but Jesus, Disneyland isn’t very hard to understand.
