This is... incredible.
Is anyone gonna ask her about the staffer she was having an "inappropriate" relationship with? Who was, despite what her attorney said in court, STILL ON THE PAYROLL when I published the story?
Is anyone gonna ask her about her former District Director, who tweeted this yesterday?
Is anyone gonna ask her why this former intern regrets working on her campaign?
Or is anyone gonna ask her about the hacking charges brought against the husband of one of her campaign staffers - who hacked into two of Katies' opponents' sites? The same man she paid for "website security" two months earlier? docquery.fec.gov/cgi-bin/fecimg…
This is not a revenge porn case - this is a case of a woman weaponizing the legal system to attempt to silence a journalist who brought her bad deeds to light and making false claims of a conspiracy. As the judge ruled.
And since her atty apparently cannot read FEC records (or the anti-SLAPP law in California), here is the link to the record showing that the harassed/abused staffer was paid up through December 2019. fec.gov/data/disbursem…

Torn between just staying home with my dog and going to a friend's birthday party and laying by the pool with an adult beverage. Only reason I'm torn is b/c it involves people. People that I like, but just not in a small talk mood. 1st time I'll have seen them since F died.

Some facts abt what's happening in #EchoPark.🧵

1. The city has a $500M reno project scheduled for the PUBLIC SPACE.
2. ⬆️This is not a random "eviction."
3. In 1/2020 StreetWatch LA+DSA blocked a cleanup of the crime-ridden encampment, emboldening them

4. For the past 3 days homeless service providers have been at Echo Park Lake offering services thru Project Roomkey/Homekey.
5. Many of the residents have rejected services.
6. Mitch O'Farrell's ofc has already placed 100 ppl who were living at lake into safe housing/shelter
7. More than 4,000 Echo Park residents (not the homeless) signed a petition asking O'Farrell to find housing for all homeless ppl at #EchoParkLake and for the city to clean up the park so all can enjoy it
8. Violent crime, sexual assault, and drug OD's/dealing are rampant

I normally wouldn't share something so personal on Twitter but this needs to be heard, and not just for my family.

My 36-wks-pregnant DIL was admitted to hosp 90 min ago w/pre-eclampsia. Obv there's a good chance she'll have to deliver soon. Yet my son can't go in. They've both
..had COVID and it's documented. Even so, she's laying there waiting on medical tests etc. all alone, and my son's at the house, sick with worry. There is no reason he cannot be there. They have COVID protocols. Partners are able to be there for birth anyway. Let him in now.
Expectant parents shouldn't have to face these things alone. In the case of my kids, they lost their 1st baby to miscarriage during this pandemic and she had to go through all of those procedures alone. It's not right.
