This is a incident is terrible but this reporting is wrong.

When cops tells someone they’re gonna “ride the lightning,” it means they’re gonna get TASED, not executed.

Always remember the technical term for cowboys like Wyatt Earp and Wild Bill is: "white cowboys."

First, you gotta remember that the first English colonies like Jamestown were basically a failure. It turns out, the rich aristocrats who came over weren't good at doing stuff.

"Stuff" includes farming, hunting, and even getting here.

The only reason they survived is welfare.
That's right. They basically depended on the indigenous natives for food for the first few years. It got so bad that the white people started eating their belts, their clothes & each other.

Under the new law, 40% of NY’s marijuana revenue would go to “minority” communities, which seems GREAT.

That ain’t enough.

One of the untold stories is how cops use weed laws to target Black people. You might THINK you know, but you don’t.

Let's get this out of the way:

Young white people use more ILLEGAL drugs than damn near anyone in 'murica. I know. It seems like it CAN'T be true. It always was.

Now, of course, you might have read that Blacks and whites use drugs "at about the same rate. "

That's WAS true
But now that a MAJORITY of states have legalized and decriminalized some form of marijuana, weed is no longer technically an ILLEGAL drug.

And weed was the category where Black people kinda kept up with whites. In the other categories, whites were running away with the race

In 1521, Lucas Vásquez de Ayllón landed on the present-day SC coastline on a land-stealing reconnaissance trip for Spain. While looking around, some of his crew stole one of the indigenous people and loaded him on a ship.

Of course, they gave him a white name – Francisco.
They took him to Spain so they could get the Spanish King to grant them exclusive rights to the land that neither of them owned.

Frank assured the King that his people would welcome the white colonizers with open arms because he was willing to vouch for them, so they returned.

First of all, we have to understand what the filibuster is.

It's ANY MEASURE that stops a vote. That's it. That's all. It's not in the Constitution. The Constitution doesn't really have many rules for Congress. It doesn't even mandate that a majority is needed to pass a law.
Specifically, aside from a majority to conduct business; a 3/4 vote to amend the Constitution; and a 2/3rds vote to expel a member, override a presidential veto and impeach a president.

Every other rule, the House & Senate makes up for itself, according to the Constitution

A lot of people believe #OscarsSoWhite means the Oscar voters are racist.

I don't.

In fact, I'd argue that the Oscars are colorblind.

NEVER trust anyone who says that. "Not seeing color" is NOT the OPPOSITE of racism. It is the literal manifestation of white supremacy.

Here's a secret you should know:
Given the choice, most people wouldn't trade their race or ethnicity for anything in the world. Whiteness is not a thing that most nonwhite people aspire to become.

I love being Black. It is part of my history and my culture. It defines me.
