THE FUTILE EFFORTS SO FAR:

Let me set the record straight again. The narrative they all struggled to push down our throats was that @DrIsaPantami was a terrorist on the US Watchlist. When we rejected that, they started calling for him to be listed, by sharing some videos

which I have once mentioned in my article (oneheartnaija.com/2021/04/16/dr-…) on this entire drama as his opinion, cut from parts of lectures or talks he delivered some years ago.

All we have been saying, as you can see from the conclusion of the above article, is that "Dr. Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami is not what these underlings and propaganda dogs want the world to believe. He is human, and he makes mistakes. But linking him to any form of Terrorism or ties

with terrorists is ludicrous and reckless.". Yes, as a human, we do expect him to make mistakes in views or on some actions about how he understands certain things or do them. We have never idolise him nor it is one of our characters idolising an individual on any matter.

In fact, a lot of us that have known the Shaykh and have been close to him in the last 15 years or more, knew about how eminent Islamic Scholars of Sunnah, like

Shaykh Bin Baz, Shaykh Uthaymeen (Allah bless their souls) and the Fatwas they gave condemning Terrorism from him. I remember receiving a copy of a printed book, "In Defense of Islam, in the Light of September 11" from him. What that book contained was arguments

and debates of some revered Islamic Scholars with those that harbor such extreme ideologies, & how they were the first scholars to condemn the activities of Al-Qaedah & it's activities. So, those of us that became close to him for the last 15 years & more knew he was

never harboring such ideology. Our relationship with him is not that of a Master & Servant. It has never been so. It is the relationship between a teacher and his students. We have disagreed on some things, & have agreed on many others. We ve argued & even had misunderstandings.

The respect we accord him are plainly as a result of his guidance, support & mentorship & not because of his position as DG NITDA or Honorable Minister. He is a humble mentor, who even after we disagree finds time to explain to us, as small as we are, his reasons.

What we rejected and still reject is your ill-intended attacks linking him to terrorist organisations. This we have known that he never had such relationship. What he has preached or political positions or opinions he has held in the past, he has clarified that himself.

What we have known of him we will continue to speak on them. For the sake of those that think we do what we do for pay, you will be disappointed to know that we don't. We have been with him from the days he was a lecturer to date. From when he had no political position to date.

Our relationship with him hasn't changed, in such a way that when he makes mistakes, we correct him, and he has always welcomed such from us. To anyone familiar with Islamic scholarship, there is no renown scholar who might have held an opinion on something & maintained such even

in the face of superior arguments from the Qur'an & Sunnah. This is not new to any student of knowledge, and to anyone used to scholarship. While the mischief makers among will continue to express your hatred in whatever form you are being paid to, or from your inner evils,

we will continue to counter them with facts. The battle between falsehood & truth will never come to an end. As this one passes, we will step into another, and be rest assured that we are ready.
