O My servants, if the first of you and the last of you, and the humans of you and the jinn of you, were all as pious as the most pious heart of any individual amongst you, then this would not increase My Kingdom an iota.
O My servants, if the first of you and the last of you, and the humans of you and the jinn of you, were all as wicked as the most wicked heart of any individual amongst you, then this would not decrease My Kingdom an iota . O My servants, if the first of you and the last of you,
and the humans of you and the jinn of you, were all to stand together in one place and ask of Me, and I were to give everyone what he requested, then that would not decrease what I Possess, except what is decreased of the ocean when a needle is dipped into it.
O My servants, it is but your deeds that I account for you, and then recompense you for. So he who finds good, let him praise Allah, and he who finds other than that, should blame only himself... [Muslim].

Here are 8 Muslim women we can learn a lot from their lives & draw so much strength from; from their diverse experiences, expertise, commitment to the religion & the values they have added to the world & scholarship.
Thread.
1. Nafisah bint al-Hasan;
Nafisah bint al-Hasan became so knowledgeable in Hadith, that Imam al-Shafi'i sought to learn from her. She was coined "Nafisatul-'ilm" (the gem of knowledge) before she had even hit puberty! She was a fountain of knowledge & a great woman.
2. Fatimah al-Fihri;
After her father & husband passed away, Fatiah inherited a huge amount of money. She was not interested in money, & decided to spend her wealth for the sake of Allah. She built a large masjid & included a library to encourage knowledge and scholarship.
Anytime we call for a Better Nigeria, let us remember to call for Better Nigerians. We are the instruments for every misdoing, corruption & misappropriations that made Nigeria what is it today. How many of us can swear that they have never stolen or taken anything from
public wealth under their watch? How many of us can swear that they have never aided someone to corner some monies belonging to the Nation, or assisted someone in doing what he or she knows is wrong? How many of us out of the 200 Million Nigerians we are?
Our leaders are a reflection of ourselves, in many cases worse. You give someone a Contract to renovate an apartment for you while you are abroad. He made the estimates, sent the list to you and you wired the money to his account out of trust. He lied. He cheated.
Do you realise that majority of the challenges we face today in our homes are due to poor communication or its absence totally?
It's a thread.
Let us take a quick look back to those days we were dating. When you were dating your partner, don't you spend so much time, energy and different styles to convey a particular message misunderstood by the partner? Why is it hard to do same now that you have become one?
Today, everyone you seek for counsel from, about failing relationship will tell you that "communication is key". But what kind of communication are we talking about? How should couples communicate?
Another day, another challenge. We didn't just wake up to this sorry-state of affairs we find ourselves. There have always been pointers that we always have ignored. There have been prerequisites to this situation, & until we fix them, we are in for bigger surprises.
When the journey started, there was justice in terms of the distribution of wealth, opportunities, and privileges within the society. The Sardaunas didn't select who to send overseas to study. They didn't select who to fund & who to mentor. Many of their protégés were nobodies.
They didn't lead to enrich themselves nor did they do for the luxury (alone). Their hearts were with the people and the Northern project. Until the wicked & develish coupists killed them in cold blood, they are planning for all us to have an easy life, and for everybody.
I don't want to put all the blames on President @MBuhari, but I will have to. He is the C-in-C; which means; he makes the call. He decides who is fired & who remains. Not being able to fire people that fail is the peak of incompetence. Not resigning when you fail is the peak of
lack of nobility, respectability, worthiness, honourability, & integrity. The multifaceted nature of the failure of governance we are witnessing affects us all, not only the President, but anyone close to the President, or anyone with access to the President.
If we do our part, Allah is our witness. I am very sure that a lot of information do get to the President, but nothing seems to be changing for better. People are being killed daily, yet nobody is resigning, nobody is being fired nor investigated. We can't keep repeating the
