Section 230 gives social media platforms the protections of FAIR USE and SAFE HARBOR so long as they operate as editorially neutral platforms.
When they use demonetization as a punishment it can be said they are asserting themselves as a PUBLISHER.

If you care about this industry and freedom of expression , I recommend reconsidering how much intervention you call on from these platforms and the government.

Just because it feels convenient now or you feel strongly about a handful of people, doesn’t mean you understand the consequences and how new this industry is or the legal side of it when it comes to regulations and the hard won battles fought for FAIR USE and SAFE HARBOR.
The regulation of social media would be a win for gatekeepers everywhere to take back the power they lost over the last 2 decades.
Don’t think this is fear mongering. Look to COPPA, Article 17, and the felony streaming ban legislation if you doubt the threat to this industry.
