The more comfortable you feel in an apartment, the more likely it is that you will not lock the bathroom door when bathing. You can't be more vulnerable than being in the bathroom stark naked, taking a bath and not caring if someone opens the door. #Vulnerability

Why? Because you trust that those around you understand your need for privacy, your need to be vulnerable and your need not be afraid. Breaking the confidence of those who trust you to keep their secrets secret is equivalent of bursting in on someone while bathing. #Vulnerability

Unfortunately, many have experienced this in one form or another and it's the reason they're always on guard, refusing to trust anyone

#Vulnerability as a word can be very negative. You only need to take a look at the dictionary to see what it says. Vulnerability as defined is..

...Vul•ner•a•ble: capable of being physically or emotionally wounded or being open to attack or damage. Doesn’t sound nice abi? But vulnerability as a concept can actually be good and positive. It just depends on how you see it. #Vulnerability

Don’t get me wrong, vulnerability (physical and/or emotional) can be dangerous, but so is Love and a Nuclear Plant 😂. But I have realized that it can be so stimulating knowing that you can be yourself and be free without being judged for being you. #Vulnerability

The fear of vulnerability is what makes some wife’s pull back from letting go because they're afraid of being judged “promiscuous” by hubby

The fear of #Vulnerability is what makes some pull back from forging strong relationships cos they’re afraid of 'What they’ll think of me?'

The Fear of vulnerability robs us of being human.

Sometimes, you just want to let your hair down without a care in the world.

Sometimes, you just want to be politically incorrect with your friends without someone questioning your motives and your judgment. #Vulnerability

Sometimes you just want to be unreasonable and throw a tantrum with a loved one for reasons that you can’t explain.

Sometimes, you are just tired of feeling like a robot. Always calculative, always on guard, always planning, always organized. #Vulnerability

The fear of vulnerability is worse if you have been hurt in the past or if you have experienced mob action from the e-lynch crowd on SM.

But the best of relationships I have experienced even from folks on SM are at points when they have been vulnerable with me. #Vulnerability

The point is this, be the kind of person that another human being will feel safe to be vulnerable with, without fear or hesitation.

Be the kind of friend that will not reveal the secret of another friend just to rubbish what they stand for. #Vulnerability

Be the kind of friend that another can take a bath in the next room without even the thought of a need to lock the door.

Vulnerability makes you willing to give the other person “the benefit of a doubt”. It makes you pause to reconsider that you might be wrong. #Vulnerability

Vulnerability makes you willing and open to embrace change or do something different. Quite frankly, It makes you human.

If you are married, engaged or committed, you can NEVER enjoy the best of your spouse if you unwilling to be VULNERABLE. #Vulnerability

If you are an employer, showing Vulnerability will only help to make your employees feel you are "Human" and that you "understand".

If you are a friend, understand that there are depths of friendship with someone you can never reach unless you are willing to be. #Vulnerability

In summary, vulnerability can be DANGEROUSLY POSITIVE. It depends on how you see it and how you handle it.
