So, what's happening in Delhi in the last one week? Pitch in to sing paeans to the glorious Arvind Kejriwal.
1. Sudden Oxygen Crisis and Kejru whining, followed by hospitals
2. Supplies from outside Delhi facing delays due to dug-in by the Wailing Jattni Rakesh Tikait
3. Another long march on Delhi announced.
4. Haryana CM issued a public statement hinting Kejru is lying and that Delhi is getting more oxygen than its prescribed maximum.
5. Kejru caught pants down and had to beg for apology when Modi called him out for telecasting live a secure Government meeting
6. Centre released money for 8 oxygen plants in December but it is revealed that Delhi built only one.
7. NOC for DRDO(Hospital) and IOCL(Oxygen plant) facilities pending with Kejru Sarkar. DRDO cleared, IOCL yet to be.
8. Delhi's hospital availability map showing wrong data.
9. Delhi govt wasted three critical days by not sending tankers for Oxygen collection.
10. Migrant exodus out of Delhi
11. No vaccine requisition request for May.

How much they prayed to their gods for this day!! Anyways. When you have a population of 1.5 billion, cases will also be in proportion. I am surprised a scholar like @steve_hanke is implying Vatican is performing better than India on Wuhan Virus Front.
Look at per 1000 cases. Look at how long India took to bring the situation back to decent control. Look at how India scaled up vis-a-vis other countries. Look at how India vaccinated half the globe in spite of the recipients of India's largesse refused to reciprocate.
Had India's leadership been weaker, the reality would be far different - not just India but whole of the world will suffer starting with USA which braved the last wave solely because of India's vaccines and medicines. No vacillating or spiteful head of state will do such a thing.

This image...is there a historic parallel? Sadly, there is. I may be fantasising but there is a parallel here. How many of you heard of Second World War's Bombing of Dresden - the bombing raid which destroyed Dresden and killed thoousands. Many questioned the need of it.
What did it achieve? Or is just a British ego massage as like what Arthur Bomber Harris puts it - I do not personally regard the whole of the remaining cities of Germany as worth the bones of one British Grenadier?
Look at another quote by him. There lies the answer. Operation Thunderclap. And Dresden was not a one off.

CPEC units turned bankrupt even before the whole project is completed. The parasitic beggars's use was seen when they refused to mobilize towards Khaplu when the Chinese are stuck in Ladakh and importing Taliban into Xinjiang is the worst thing China can do.
To maintain a position in Himalayas really costs. And when you need to trudge thousands of kilometres of occupied lands to reach Indian border, you will really bleed money. Many empires collapsed trying to garrison Tibet and Tarim. The CCPoohs seem to be the next in line.

India never supported Sri Lankan Tamils wholeheartedly in the fear that they will fan separatist flames in India. But something worse is happening in Myanmar now. The Christian Mizo are daring the Central Govt to set up an independent Christian Chin state.
Will Centre stay silent or will it fix the mess before the flames spead everywhere for demands of Christian Fundamentalist Kuki-Chin and Nagalim Superstates? Manipur will be in the line of fire if we don't act in time and we don't want the Meitei to become the next Bru or Chakma.
India is lazy to implement Curzon Doctrine and South East Asia is soon becoming the new global theatre. When East Timor or South Sudan were created out of nowhere due to external pressure, do you suppose Myanmar can hold on without Indian support? Zomi and Naga state maps. ImageImage

Gandhi's grandfather was the Diwan of Porbandar and his mother's family managed the main Pranami temple of Porbandar. Just think what sort of a family background Kasturba would have come from.
Gandhi forced her to do what he did - his Harijan Seva and all, he gave away all her jewel - the ones which she brought from her parents, forced her to wear that coarse khadi, she saw her son ruined before her eyes because of Gandhi's obstinacy(he died of syphillis later)
and ultimately died of depression. What sort of a life she envisioned before marriage and what sort of a life she got? I am sure she would have cursed her parents daily for sending him to England for his education.
