A well meaning, as always, thread by @GunduHuDuGa. My thought: I classify Indians as RIs, RNIs, NRIs and NRIs broadly. HIs - Resident Indians, Resident Non Indians, Non Resident Indians and Not Required Indians.
No one questions or cribs about the personal choices made by individuals on migrating for better opportunities. They moved not because they were anti-India but because of lack of opportunities in India (the early migrants from '60s and '70s especially). Let me amplify.
The RNIs and the Not required variety are the problem - who have problems (much of it deliberate), in comprehending and then giving the stiff upper lip to India - "Oh my God, Indians don't have traffic sense" varieties to "I have spent US $7000/- for an air-ticket types
to people, who genuinely feel for India and its causes. In my view, once a person has decided to settle abroad, they must support their new motherland and support, in principle, their original motherland instead of cocking a snook at India and Indians. "Coz, ...
many of them, are / were from middle class when their parents struggled, worked hard for their sons/ daughters to study abroad. Those who forget their roots, those who forget to stay on ground, one day or other....
will fall to the ground from a height that is directly proportional to their level of ego, derision, contempt that they have for Indian values. Thanks @GunduHuDuGa for this lovely write up and @SparesofWar for the pointer to this thread!

A MAN went to a Doctor suffering from a severe headache for years on end.
The doctor said, “Joe, the good news is I can cure your headaches. The bad news is it will require removing your testicles"
“You have a rare condition which causes your testicles to press on your spine, and the pressure creates one hell of a headache. The only way to relieve the pressure is to remove the testicles.”
Joe was shocked but he knew he had no choice but to go under the knife.
When he left the hospital, he was without a headache for the first time in 20 years, and he truly believed he could make a new life.
He saw a men’s clothing store and thought, “That’s what I need ... a new suit.”
To those who think that in 2021 India is witnessing its biggest crisis in the opinion of dangerous fools like @ShekharGupta - India has seen far too many crisis in her history from time immemorial. Do you think the repeated attack by Ghazni, Aurangazen at that time, was any less?
A country that has witnessed the biggest forced religion based partition and migration because of 2 fellows or womanizers (?) who favored one religion more than the other. India was able to absorb the new migrants - though it took time.
The great famine induced by that criminal Churchill. So many people died in West Bengal due to diversion of food. We built Satellites that were sent to the launch pad on a bicycle.
Covid Statewise Vaccination an analysis by % of the population that got the 1st vaccination. The table has data for 2nd vaccination but the focus is on 1st vaccination. These are just my observations.
Data is arranged by the number of 1st vaccinations. In my view, obviously higher the % of vaccinations, the safer is the population. Where the % of population vaccinated for the 1st time is less than 6% need to pay attention. UP, Meghalaya, Manipur need to ramp up quickly.
Why is Bihar lagging so behind - in terms of % of its population having been vaccinated and also absolute number of 1st dose. Intriguing and something not matching up?? Dunno.
India is having a crisis. A resurge of pandemic. Made worse by all news channels creating nothing but panic. In the middle of it we have internal enemies. Internal Political enemies SuSu Swamy and his cronies.
Then anti-nationals from Congress, RJD, SP and company including DMK, Commies (of course), TRS, Jagan and TMC. These fellows only consideration is what is in it for me. They could not care two hoots for ordinary folks.
The next category - the 4th pillar of democracy. But the pillar is stinking because the so called watch dogs of democracy - have been pissing in the same place where they are standing. Includes @sardesairajdeep@GargiRawat@PrannoyRoyNDTV fluctuation @navikakumar and Co.
An old one with a new twist. Take it either shaken or stirred!! #humor
A popular bar had a new robotic bartender installed, who could not only serve drinks efficiently but also converse with the customers intelligently on a variety of topics.
A guy came in for a drink and the robot asked him,
"What's your IQ?"
The man replied, "160."
Robot said: "hmm, Scientist?"
Man replied: Yup, "Astrophysicist"
So the robot proceeded to make conversation about the Grand Unified Theory of Universe of Stephen Hawking while serving him drinks.
The man listened intently and exclaimed, "This is absolutely great"
Polling Percentage and other interesting tid bits!! Of the seizure of money, freebies, liquor and like!!
