India is having a crisis. A resurge of pandemic. Made worse by all news channels creating nothing but panic. In the middle of it we have internal enemies. Internal Political enemies SuSu Swamy and his cronies.
Then anti-nationals from Congress, RJD, SP and company including DMK, Commies (of course), TRS, Jagan and TMC. These fellows only consideration is what is in it for me. They could not care two hoots for ordinary folks.
The next category - the 4th pillar of democracy. But the pillar is stinking because the so called watch dogs of democracy - have been pissing in the same place where they are standing. Includes @sardesairajdeep @GargiRawat @PrannoyRoyNDTV fluctuation @navikakumar and Co.
Then there is next breed called the twitter celebs - who blow hot and blow cold. One day they will be on this side, the next they will be fence sitting and out supporting the other side. Their only aim is to get likes, followers and RTs - in other words, Twitter TRPs.
Then we have folks who think they are Lord of all they purvey. Their own house is stinking with pending cases of over 4 decades where cases suffocate with no light or oxygen but are bothered about Govt. supplying oxygen,
as if anyone can produce O2 through "akarabakarda..." and presto, Oxygen is here. Another brilliant nautanki, in between chirps in and says because of tree felling our oxygen supplies are limited.
Then we have people at BBC who love portraying in the most negative way. They could not care less that India has done many humanitarian gestures as opposed to Britain creating humanitarian crisis.
Am sure there are scavenging NGOs who are salivating at the prospect of raising money through which they will do some conversions just like Mother Theresa did. And bigger scavengers will replicate the unholy act of some of the padres.
In the midst of it, we have our own people, ordinary twitter handles and folks outside of Twitter who like Oases in Sahara desert who are lending helping hand to each other guided by a bigger vision of helping each other, praying for each other.
Last but not the least, the Corona Warriors, who are doing tremendous job alongwith Vaccine manufacturers. And of course of our Government mechanism of whom am absolutely proud of.
Choice is what do each of us want to be. The former or the latter. I choose to be the latter.

An old one with a new twist. Take it either shaken or stirred!! #humor

A popular bar had a new robotic bartender installed, who could not only serve drinks efficiently but also converse with the customers intelligently on a variety of topics.
A guy came in for a drink and the robot asked him,
"What's your IQ?"
The man replied, "160."
Robot said: "hmm, Scientist?"
Man replied: Yup, "Astrophysicist"
So the robot proceeded to make conversation about the Grand Unified Theory of Universe of Stephen Hawking while serving him drinks.

The man listened intently and exclaimed, "This is absolutely great"

A practical perspective on growing up and our material possessions.

This article has caused many to reflect over their own lives. // Via WA
The author is a retired writer, and she expressed emotion when she was about to go to a nursing home.

(Originally written in Chinese)
I'm going to a nursing home. I have to. When life gets to where you are no longer able to take care of yourself completely, your children are busy at work and have to take care of their children and have no time to take care of you, this seems to be the only way out.

If there is ONE, just one book, that everyone who loves India should read, it is, "Educational Heritage of Ancient India" by @singhsahana It gives a wholesome view of the thriving Educational heritage of India, how Muslim invaders destroyed it, how English perpetuated it and...
How Indira Government removed Dr.S. L. Bhyrappa from the Committee (was it the Kothari commission?) that was to revise school text books. Instead the Chairman told,...
" it is important to weed out all historical references which could go against the spirit of National Integration". A nation, a society, a country that forgets its history is often condemned to repeat it.

@DrRPNishank Don't be proud like @PrakashJavdekar that not a single word of text books on history has been altered. It is because India surrendered her education at school level to Xtian Convents and college level education,
that Indians (from 1800s onwards) have developed an inferiority complex about India and everything Indian but lost their traditions and rich legacy. We are fighting a civilizational war here not just altering of text books.
Whatever little bit of Tamil that I know, the Tamil history, the Indian history that I have studied is because I read in a non-convent school - called the DTEA Higher Secondary School in Delhi. Am ever grateful to the teachers for having taught the above topics.

BRITISH HOSPITALITY - #Humour

Imran , a Pakistani citizen aged 72, is visiting London for the first time. He decides to skip the afternoon tour and explore the city on his own.
He saunters around, seeing the sights, and occasionally stopping at a quaint pub to soak up the local culture, chat with the lads, and have a pint of Guinness.

After a while, he finds himself in a very high-class neighbourhood.
Big, stately residences ... no pubs, no stores, no restaurants, and worst of all ... no public toilets.

He really, really has to go, after all those Guinness beers and all that trouble with his prostate.
