Continuing the news coverup for the benefit of narco-trafficker Mike Hackett (who controls Riverview) no where in this news blurb is Hackett mentioned

"Cannabis grower Riverview Farms slapped with $400,000 fine for illegal extraction work." montereycountyweekly.com/blogs/news_blo… @bradleyzeve
2/

Hackett was convicted of cocaine trafficking in San Benito County in 2018 and then moved his enterprises to straw owners - Hackett appealed his conviction, despite his plea of no contest, lost and in the appeal Hackett was caught on a @DEAHQ wiretap of another target.
3/

Hackett later violated his felony probation and another cover-up took place. Monterey County probation and @SalinasPD looked the other way on Hackett's continued illegal activity and a local judge, Pam Butler, gave him a pass on his violations.

Obviously it's a continuing
4/

law breaking enterprise with zero respect for the process and the rules.

Hackett has also been making it known, according to well placed sources, that he is bribing local elected officials.

Hackett mentioned @SupervisorAlejo by name.

@DaytonPubPolicy This was 2001 - 2005.
@DaytonPubPolicy In securing a $2,000,000 economic development grant from the federal government - the @CityofSalinas committed fraud on its application to the agency.

To the best of my knowledge it was never fully investigated by the @FBISanFrancisco - but should have been.

👇👇
@DaytonPubPolicy @CityofSalinas @FBISanFrancisco ... to use an analogy - a lot of people want to forget how the Miami skyline was built.

The data holds up. Why did the federal officials fail to investigate the fraud that occurred then?

9/11 had just happened, diverting resources to terror.

The Oldtown boys got off easy.

... disingenuous journalism from the @mcweekly, again.

Rolando and Ricky Cabrera are rumored to have an unusually close relationship w/ @SalinasPD mgmt and after this blog requested records relating to the Cabreras and SPD, sources tell us that SPD mgmt is "freaked out" about

The disingenuous part of @bradleyzeve's 🦑?

This is misleading. @CityofMonterey is an organized crime hub crucial to several large interests.

"Although Monterey is a low-crime city, Hober said issues such as thefts can be major issues to residents. He said there is at least one bike stolen a week." montereyherald.com/general-news/2…
2/

"He said officers are aware of people who are “involved in crime,” namely those on probation and parole.
“So, when we start having crime we can look in those areas,” he said."

That means @MontereyPolice are focused on Black & Brown when performing law enforcement duties.

'McCarthy said. “I am confident Chief Hober’s experience, work ethic and education will continue to ensure Monterey remains a safe and outstanding community.”'

The CM that hired Hober was fired after lurid allegations of misconduct - a group of real winners. @HaffaAlan

... Alameda County and Monterey County have a lot in common.

I would say that other good examples are Orange County - where Mike Carona "America's Sheriff" did a nickel in federal prison for corruption.

Los Angeles County where Lee Baca is in prison until 2022.

Laurie Smith, Santa Clara's long term Sheriff is under continued investigation by @SantaClaraDA for corruption.

The @salnews piece also describes a Brian Montes as someone who worked for a Truck Broker in Hollister CA - what the piece doesn't say is Montes had set up his own Truck Brokerage in Salinas prior to his disappearance and presumed murder.
