👑 Michael and Carole Middleton have provided a solid foundation for Prince William and Kate since they married in 2011

🌼 In an interview with Saga, Mrs Middleton revealed she loves nothing more than gardening with her young grandchildren.

“It's important for children to grow up appreciating nature and part of that is allowing them to get a bit muddy”
🤝 Speaking to Good Housekeeping, she said:

"I feel it is my children's role to pass on what they think is important to their children. I know how hard it was for me bringing up my own children, that you invest a lot in them, and don't really want a know-it-all granny out there"
🎄 The Middleton's £4.7million manor house in Berkshire is where the couple lived in the first few weeks after Prince George was born.

They have also broken with royal tradition to spend Christmas there instead of Sandringham
🧡 Middleton told Stella:

“My biggest fear [as her offspring grew] was that I’d lose my family. But we’ve stayed close.”

Tatler referred to Carole as the "matriarch, financial director, fashion muse, groovy down-with-the-kids mum and...chief grandparent to our future monarch"
🤐 The Middletons seem to have taken royal life in their stride and even after all this time are still keen not to put a foot wrong.

As Mrs Middleton once said in an interview in the Telegraph Magazine: “Over the years, it’s proved wise not to say anything”
🎁 Mrs Middleton, who runs party supply company Party Pieces, is said to have recently requested that a publicity drive for a Good Housekeeping interview she conducted not to go ahead as she didn’t want to seem “insensitive” while Prince Philip was in hospital
✨ Mrs Middleton spoke of a socially-distanced Christmas:

"What really matters is that my family feels connected. I normally let my grandchildren help me decorate the tree. This year, I'll ask them by video call...It may need to be tastefully rearranged later…!"

📌 Social distancing

📏 While the Government is confident that restrictions on meeting others will cease on June 21, it appears likely that some form of social distancing will stay in place.

Pubs have warned that if distancing rules stay in place, it will be a disaster
🍻Venues that rely on full houses to profit are awaiting results of the Gov review into the 1m distancing rule.

🇮🇳 India has set a new global record for Covid infections.

People are dying on the streets and hospitals are running out of oxygen.

India's crisis is one of the worst the world has yet seen.

📈But how did the second wave get this bad?

@Sophcoe_ explains👇
📅 In March India's health minister said it was in the “endgame” of the pandemic.

They held cricket games and religious festivals, all largely maskless.

Now India is in the thrall of one of the worst outbreaks to date

@jriggers and @sneweyy report 👇

😁 It boosts our mood

There is a link between sunlight and our serotonin levels – the hormone that makes us feel happy.
