Short version of the Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe

In the late 70s the Shah of Iran ordered and paid for 1500 Shir 2 tanks from the UK

Paid £400m for them

The Shah was overthrown in 1979 and Iran became the Islamic Republic of Iran

Iran still wanted the Shir 2 tanks it had paid money for

But the Govt said nope and kept the money and supplied no tanks

Fast forward to 2016, Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe visits her mother in Iran with her 22m old daughter in tow on a 100% family visit.

As she was about to board the plane back to the UK she was arrested

£252m of public money given to Ayanda Capital, registered in Mauritius for tax dodging, to supply PPE that never appeared

£186m of public money given to Uniserve Ltd of Essex, the UK's largest privately owned logistics a. global trade management company, to supply PPE that never appeared.

£116m of public money given to P14 Medical Ltd of Liverpool, which had liabilities exceeding assets by £485,000 in December 2019 with just £145 in the bank, for PPE that never appeared.

1/5 I think the UK should become a republic

What's the point of a monarch with powers stop an out of control rogue Govt if they're scared to use them?

2/5 Parliamentary seats should be redrawn as best is possible to all be the same size population wise

MPs should be elected on PR with a run off of the two with highest votes if no one got 50% plus of the 1st vote

3/5 The lords needs to go

Replaced with another elected body, the make up such I'm not sure about, but say based on regions and not seats

1/4 Trump's strategy for his coup d'etat

Is the keep throwing a s*** at the wall in the form of fake election fraud cases

So that the state electors when they meet in a few weeks are unable to certify their results and declare @JoeBiden the winner

2/4 At which point it falls to the state delegates most of which are republicans

Who will of course declare him president

Which would trigger big reaction from the centre and left of politics in the form of massive protests

3/4 At which point he will invoke the insurrection act an "attempt" to use the US army to keep him in control by subjugating the US people
