A team headed by Sandeep Sultania, IAS is working to avoid shortage of essential drugs and medical equipment. Raghunandan, Commissioner, PR&RD will monitor the special recruitment drive by District Collectors for filling-up vacancies in Govt. Hopsitals and PHCs through walk-ins.
A special team under @jayesh_ranjan, Prl Secretary Industries & Commerce is constituted to procure adequate quantities of Remdesivir. Other senior IAS officers have been appointed as Special Officers for major Government Hospitals in Hyderabad for improving quality of services.
Except for GHMC area, respective District Collectors will be the Special Officers for the biggest hospital in the district. Senior district officers will be Special Officers for the other hospitals. #TelanganaFightsCovid19
Govt. of India had allotted only 4.4 lakh doses to Telangana for the month of May, 2021 against a population of 1.72 Crore in the 18-44 years age group. CS has written a letter to GoI requesting for the allotment of more vaccine for the State.
In case of people above 45 years and are due for the second dose of #Covid19 vaccine, Govt. of India has allotted just 8.35 lakh doses for the first fortnight of May against a requirement of 30.45 lakh doses. CS has written to Govt. of India for enhanced allocation.
The CS has also written to Govt. of India requesting allocation of 600 MT Oxygen to the State against the present allocation of 430 MT per day.

The CS has exhorted the Deputy Commissioners to start Out Patient Services at all the Government Hospitals, Urban Health Centres and Basthi Dawakhanas. Directed them to ensure the delivery of Home Isolation Medical Kits to all the citizens with #Covid19 symptoms.
Decisions taken at the Tele-conferece: To constitute teams with Municipal Staff, ANMs and Asha workers. The teams will visit every household in their purview to identify people with #Covid19 symptoms and will handover medicinal kits. They will keep a track of their health.
