Chief Secretary @SomeshKumarIAS today held a meeting at BRKR Bhavan with senior IAS Officers, @GHMCOnline Zonal Commissioners and Hospital Superintendents and requested them to implement decisions taken at yesterday's tele-conference to combat #Covid19 in GHMC area.
The CS has urged the officials to put best efforts to overcome the #COVID19Pandemic. Directed that teams comprising of Municipal Staff, ANMs and Asha Workers to reach out to every household and identify persons with #Covid19 symptoms and handover medical kits to them.
Instructed officials to start #COVID19 Out Patient services at all the PHCs, Basthi Dawakhanas and other health facilities. Asked them to increase #Covid19 beds in major hospitals like NIMS, Sarojini Devi, Chest, Gandhi, Fever, TIMS, King Koti and other hospitals in GHMC limits.
The Chief Secretary asked the senior officials to take up cleanliness drives in all the Government Hospitals, Urban Primary Health Centres and Basthi Dawakhanas to improve hygienic conditions.
Secretary (HMFW Dept.) S.A.M. Rizvi, Commissioner @GHMCOnline Lokesh Kumar, CDMA N.Satyanarayana, Spl Secretary (Finance) Ronald Rose, Secretary, BIE Syed Omer Jaleel, Secretary, Tourism and Culture Srinivasa Raju, TSIIC MD Narasimha Reddy and other senior officials were present.

The CS has exhorted the Deputy Commissioners to start Out Patient Services at all the Government Hospitals, Urban Health Centres and Basthi Dawakhanas. Directed them to ensure the delivery of Home Isolation Medical Kits to all the citizens with #Covid19 symptoms.
Decisions taken at the Tele-conferece: To constitute teams with Municipal Staff, ANMs and Asha workers. The teams will visit every household in their purview to identify people with #Covid19 symptoms and will handover medicinal kits. They will keep a track of their health.
