Lets pay the debts!!! Time to review the first 2 movies of the New DC Animated Movie Universe, in celebration of the arrival of #JusticeSocietyWW2!!! Lets go review this one and 'Superman: Man of Tomorrow' as well!!!

'Superman: Man of Tomorrow' starts a new age of DC Animated Movies, slight inspired by 'Superman Earth One Vol.2' and heavily inspired by 'Superman: American Alien', by the writer and total cunt Max Landis. #JusticeSocietyWW2

The movie directed by Chris Palmer show the first days of Superman, with a young intern Clark Kent trying to fimnd his place in a world what enter in contact with Aliens for the first time, and what kind of man, and hero, he needs to be. #JusticeSocietyWW2

'Man of Tomorrow' trying to show the struggle between power and humanity through the reactions of power aliens among us, and even how humans deals with their power what they have [+] #JusticeSocietyWW2

but the execution make everything sound so focus-less that makes kinda hard follow how that plays in the overall story. Makes more to be about Superman facing problem after problem, and the message kinda loses itself in the attempt of tell the tale. #JusticeSocietyWW2

The new designs are amazing, and the new styule of animation definitely shows potential, but looks sometimes like they are learning the possibilities of the tool, and some scenes show how "stuck" they were in therms to make everything flow naturally. #JusticeSocietyWW2

Some choices here were lazy, and some work better than the imagine, but in overall deliver a so-so movie, which have good elements what hold itself to fall apart. Daddario did a really great Lois Lane as Darren Criss Superman. #JusticeSocietyWW2

Martian Manhunter and Lobo were used in interesting ways, besides not ALL the ways they are used are good. Lex is a great incorporation of the spirit of the movie, and how he open room to work him in such interesting ways but lands flat when deliver the usual. #JusticeSocietyWW2

But we FINALLY arrive at #JusticeSocietyWW2 and damn, DAMN, this isn't just a superior movie than 'Man of Tomorrow' in every way and form, but is easily THE BEST JSA ADAPTATION EVER MADE SO FAR. Incredible when you have a REAL writter dealing with the team...

The animation technique flows much better, the storyline is tight and great and the way they adapt the characters is just flawless in execution. This have the soul of the team and what make them so special,a nd is there for the world to see. #JusticeSocietyWW2

This movie also reveals there is a new Animated Movie Universe, with Matt Bomer's The Flash join Darren Criss' Superman. Besides the timeline things get hard to pinpoint, but the idea is superhero exist in a long time, but is rare they get together. #JusticeSocietyWW2

And then things make the flash going to World War 2 and THINGS. GONE. WILD. The movie is all about the the whys to be a hero, what ticks you to do that. in parallel is also about the people what you love, and why is never to late to say that for them. #JusticeSocietyWW2

The dynamics of the team are incredible to see, with the interesting addition of Steve trevor and other characters which talk more deeper about it spoils the big surprise of the movie, but it pays off so well for both new audience and long time fans of the team #JusticeSocietyWW2

And what also delioghts me is how the team is divided: Steve and Diana are the leaders, torn about their feelings of finally embrace each other and the compromisse of end the war. [+] #JusticeSocietyWW2

Hourman and Jay Garrick are the science bros, delivering their brains as their biggest tools (besides their super powers), and Black canary and Hawkman as the wrestlers, natural born fighters trying to find reason to go on after the battles they've faced. #JusticeSocietyWW2

Also, they make Hawkman a egyptian, and this are extra points in my book. And that is overall with the characterization of the characters, so damn well made, as the short (but impressive) participation of Doctor Fate at the movie. #JusticeSocietyWW2

But if the movie made a excelent transportion of the core team, is the twist in the myths what make the movie shine, and it include characters what will VERY surprised to see handle in different ways. #JusticeSocietyWW2

In resume: #JusticeSocietyWW2 is a great doorway for the team for those who didnt know them, and a passionate, well-crafted love letter for the long time fans of the team. Is time for the JSA to shine, and so far here is where they shine brighter.

#JusticeSocietyWW2 is already avaliable on digital, and is arriving in blu ray & 4K at May 11th.
